For the duration of the spell, \r\nyou can attack with one tentacle as a standard action, \r\nor all four as a full-round action. Each tentacle deals\r\n1d4 points of damage, plus your Strength modifier. When \r\nusing the tentacles, you are treated as though you have \r\nthe Improved Grapple feat. You can latch a tentacle onto \r\na foe's head with a successful grapple check, and if you \r\nbegin your turn with one tentacle successfully attached, \r\nyou can attach the remaining three with a single check, \r\nthough doing this still requires a full-round action. \r\nYour foe can escape with a single grapple check or Escape \r\nArtist check, but you gain a +2 bonus for each tentacle \r\nthat is attached at the beginning of your foe's turn.\r\n\r\nIf you begin your turn with all four tentacles attached, \r\nyou can attempt to remove your foe's brain, killing him \r\ninstantly. The victim is entitled to a fortitude save to \r\navoid this fate, though success indicates only that he \r\nevaded extraction; he is still grappled and must attempt \r\nto escape normally.\r\n\r\nYou cannot use these tentacles to grapple foes more than \r\none size category larger or smaller than you. Extracting \r\nthe brain does nothing to constructs, elementals, oozes, \r\nplants, or undead, and is not instantly fatal to \r\ncreatures with multiple heads.","jsondata":"","tags":"D&D 3.5e, d20 SRD, Spell, Arcane, Transmutation, 5th Level","templateId":"4833","blockId":"1457801","world":"81a2343d-b71e-4be1-8b90-a629519d0ed1","folder":"26405","isShared":"on"}
