Akui - The Okamiden
Akui, The Okamiden is a Yokai from the Yokai Universe. A deadly and dangerous individual who suffers from delusions of grandeur and a god complex. at one point, he controlled all of the known continent of the Yokai Universe, and completely destroyed one of the Clan's of his realm so completely, all traces of their history was completely erased from existence. Akui is also the reason why the Yokai Universe was devoured by the Void.
Akui, decided, during a major meeting of the five clans, that he should be allowed to date the Kitsune's Princess, Kiyo. when she denied him, he had a rage so fierce, that he nearly started a war with the Kitsune. Kiyo bore scars from the incident up until the day the world was shattered, and the relationship between the Okami clan and the other four became very tense. this was only made worse when Akui's father died suddenly, and Akui became the Okami Leader, renaming his title as "Okamiden" or 'god of wolves'. his demanding attitude and quick rages meant he was a very poor leader, though his Clan believed in strength over everything, so viewed his , at the time, four tails and anger issues as a sign of his divine power. This caused more than a few situations between Clans, including one dramatic event where the Okamiden attempted to pull rank on one of Kiyo's Bodyguards, as he'd never fully given up on claiming her. the bodyguard in question, was so unimpressed with him, she brushed him off completely, and hen he flew into a rage, batted him away like he was a fly. stunned by the difference in power, this was the incident that ultimate led to his betrayal of the Tanuki clan, as well as all the others in his quest for ultimate power and total control.
Later, he looses what he sees as the symbol of his own greatness, when Kage Miyuki, now known as Foxx, snuck into the Okami Den, stole the tome, and used it's power to sever his tail in order to attempt to mitigate his power, and his political image. the severing of his tails did not mitigate his power, removing the book from her person did not sever his connection to it, and by that point, everyone was too afraid of him to care if he was down a few tails. he has never forgiven Miyuki for this, and now seeks to completely tarnish their reputation in this new world.
History
Akui grew up in the Okami Clan. He was one of the most prodigious and powerful Okami in Clan history. The Son of the previous Okami head and an unknown Mother, he had very powerful Yoki even from a young age. Most wolves, never gain more than two tails as adults. Akui had two tails by the time he was two, and was raised on a mighty tall pedestal from the time he could walk. his Clan all but worshiped him, and he was raised as spoiled a brat as you could imagine. Survival
Akui survived the end of his own world by the skin of his teeth. as the void devoured everything, and the Tome devoured people, Akui cut down Tenko Kiyo and ripped the book from her hands, which allowed the Tome to devour her as it had many others. Alone in the world, he pressed bloody palms tot he Tome's pages, and demanded it save him from the void. mush to his horror, he discovered himself turning to stone. he floated in the void for some unknown number of years, only to awaken still floating inside of the void, around the same time Foxx woke in the Literoverse. His continued connection to the Tome is suspected to be the reason for his continued survival within the Void. after waking, he wandered to void for a few years, before recognizing a Yokai Signature, and ending up in the Litverse where he discovered Miyuki's continued existence and began plotting ways to ruin her life, as well as take over the new world she inhabited.Power
Akui has a lot of Yoki at his disposal, even missing three of his tails, he still holds the power he had before the Tome supercharged him. Some are common across most, if not all, Yokai such as shapeshifting, illusion magic, and heightened senses. Some are much more deadly, such as his blood daggers, his stunning howl, and his Void Walking abilities. some of his power, seams to be still connected to the Tome, as he is able to influence people with a weird charm. this does not seam to affect Literomancers, and it is limited in it's ability to control others, but if he is reasonably polite, people will rarely tell him no to simple requests, such as borrowing five bucks. he uses this power especially against Black Carl Sasuga, who he has formed an uneasy reliance with in order to get his hands on the Tome once more. Black Carl Sasuga seams aware of this power, and has been using it to his own advantage as well. This is done in turn, as Akui has noticed Black Carl Sasuga has powers of manipulation of his own. the two manipulate each other, to sometimes disastrous results. He is especially persuasive against the Litmon however, and has used this to amass terribly powerful ones.WIP
