Uncommon Nen Sword
Common, All weapons, All armors.
Disciplined Mindset – Always thinks in terms of tactics, positioning, and resources; he approaches problems like battlefields.
Quiet and Observant – Rarely speaks unless necessary, preferring to study people before deciding if they can be trusted.
Protective Instincts – Feels responsible for those around him, especially weaker allies; he instinctively takes on a leadership role.
Haunted Humor – Occasionally makes dry, grim jokes—coping mechanisms for his past trauma.
Suspicious of Authority – Struggles with taking orders; he questions motives, often challenging leaders or organizations.
Sentimental Heart – Keeps small rituals to remember his lost comrades (e.g., whispering their names before a battle).
Determined Survivor – Refuses to give up no matter how dire the situation; his willpower often pushes him past his limits.
Freedom Above All
Kaisen refuses to ever be controlled again. He values independence, self-determination, and despises systems that strip people of choice (like the Federation of Ochima did to him).
Memory as Strength
To Kaisen, remembering the fallen is sacred. Forgetting would mean betraying them. His Nen ability is literally tied to keeping his friends alive in his heart—so loyalty and remembrance are central to him.
Strength for the Oppressed
Having been a weapon for others, Kaisen swore that if he must fight, it will be for those who cannot. He despises bullies, tyrants, and warmongers.
Truth-Seeker
Deep down, Kaisen knows he doesn’t have the whole story—what really happened to his comrades, why Ochima created him, whether he was the only “success.” His drive to uncover hidden truths often outweighs personal safety.
The Soldier’s Discipline
Even as he seeks freedom, part of him still carries the commander’s mindset. He values tactics, preparation, and order in combat. He might fight for freedom, but he fights like a general.
1-Kiru – Phantom Blade Wields a swift, curved sword. Prioritizes speed and precision. Its strikes are lighter but almost impossible to see coming.
2-Sumu – Phantom Shield Carries a massive, broad shield. Specializes in defense, interception, and protection. Acts like Kaisen’s guardian, often positioning itself between him and danger.
3-Shibo – Phantom Hammer Wields a heavy warhammer. Attacks are devastating but slow, able to break armor, barriers, or even the ground beneath an opponent.
4-Senso – Phantom Spear Uses a long spear. Aggressive, unpredictable, and perfect for pressing the attack from mid-range.
Haunted by Guilt
He blames himself for the deaths of Kiru, Sumu, Shibo, and Senso—even though their fate was out of his control. This guilt can cloud his judgment, make him reckless, or cause him to hesitate at key moments.
Paranoia of Control
Having been brainwashed and tortured, Kaisen is deeply distrustful of authority figures, organizations, and even allies who try to give him orders. This makes teamwork difficult unless he feels respected.
Obsession with Strength
He fears being weak and helpless again. Sometimes he pushes himself too hard, risking injury or aura exhaustion just to prove he’s strong enough to never be a “tool” agai
Emotional Vulnerability
Despite his hardened exterior, Kaisen is extremely sentimental. If someone mocks, imitates, or desecrates the memory of his lost comrades, he can lose control of his emotions—making him predictable in battle.
Commander’s Burden
He feels compelled to protect others in combat, even strangers. If someone under his watch dies, it reopens his old wounds. He’ll often risk his life unnecessarily to prevent it.
Kaisen was not born—he was manufactured. Deep within the black laboratories of the Federation of Ochima, military scientists harvested the remnants of Chimera Ant cells and spliced them with human DNA. Their goal was simple: create an army of perfect soldiers, obedient and ruthless. Most of the creations were failures—unstable, feral, or mindless. But Kaisen was different.
From the moment he could walk, he was trained not just to fight, but to lead. While the other test subjects were given weapons, Kaisen was given strategy. While they were broken with whips, he was broken with words. The Federation poured their hopes into him, grooming him to be a commander over the others—his childhood was war rooms, training drills, and endless experiments.
Among the other experiments, however, Kaisen found fragments of humanity. There were four he grew closest to—children of war, just like him. They called themselves by scraps of words they’d overheard in the labs:
These names became their bond, their stolen identity in a place where they were treated as nothing more than weapons.
But the Federation’s cruelty knew no end. Kaisen was subjected to brainwashing, hours of torture, and forced to fight the others in staged combat drills. Slowly, his heart hardened. He began to believe he was the only one strong enough to endure.
Until the night of fire. A containment breach—perhaps an accident, perhaps sabotage—gave Kaisen the chance he had long planned for. He escaped through blood and chaos, leaving behind his comrades. When the dust settled, all he could assume was that Kiru, Sumu, Shibo, and Senso had perished. That guilt has never left him.
On the run, Kaisen was hunted by the Federation’s agents. For months he lived in alleys and abandoned factories, hiding from soldiers who would drag him back into chains. His body bore scars of both combat and experimentation, his mind sharpened by necessity. Eventually, he crossed borders under a false identity, fleeing to the United States of Saherta, a land far beyond Ochima’s reach.
There, Kaisen learned of the Hunters—men and women who sought freedom through strength, knowledge, and license. To him, becoming a Hunter was more than a profession. It was a shield against those who would enslave him again, and a weapon to carve his own destiny.
Kaisen conjures invisible spectral “phantoms” based on the comrades he believes he lost—Kiru, Sumu, Shibo, and Senso. Though their bodies cannot be seen, the weapons they wield are physical, visible constructs that can interact with the world. In essence, his memories “arm the ghosts,” and the weapons become the medium through which others perceive their presence.
Now, Kaisen walks the world as a Hunter—homeless at heart, but driven. He hunts not for wealth or glory, but for answers. He seeks any trace of his lost comrades, any whispers of the Federation’s remnants. He dreams of one day standing against Ochima not as their weapon, but as their downfall.
Until then, he fights as both man and monster, commander and fugitive—his very existence proof that no experiment, no matter how broken, is beyond freedo
