(the scene opens with Arthor and karri running out of town) 

Karri: where are we going!? 

Arthor: we're getting out of here. 

Karri: we don't even know where here is?! 

Arthor: that's fine, we don't need to know. all we need is each other

Karri: why Cant we just stay with tenebris? 

Arthor: I knew that guy was no good, I heard him talking to the old guy he was going to turn us over to the legions! 

Karri: I think your over reacting! (they stop in a clearing in the forest) 

Arthor: he knew what we are 

Karri: were. 

Arthor: it doesn't matter to them, that's all they see us as. 

Karri: you don't know that

Arthor: Stop! 

Karri: Stop what?!

Arthor: stop defending them

Karri: you keep saying them like they're some monster that's out to get us, Tenebris is trying to help us, just trust him

Arthor: look we are the only ones we can trust

Karri: then trust me, this is our second chance 

Arthor: You don't understand, We threw our second chance away when we left Barrok. 

Karri: you right I don't understand, Blackheart had reasons to trust this guy, enough to leave us in his care. 

Arthor: You really think that the guy she knew for two days is trustworthy, she was trying to get rid of us, you saw what was happening to that town! 

Karri: Yes, He proved that on the ship, he risked his life to save us. 

Arthor: (shakes his head and turns around angrily) Im just trying to look out for us why cant you understand that. 

Karri: I do understand, I lived through the same things you did, the sleepless nights, the tormenting training, the agonizing sight of watching my brother get beaten until he couldn't stand up. I lived through all of that ... but that is not How I want to live. that is not how mom and dad would want us to live. I don't want to run, I don't want to hide, I just want to live a normal life like before.... 

Tenebris: Im sorry to break it to you but your life is never going to be normal (Tenebris comes out of the darkness) 

Arthor: (stands Infront of karri and pulls a knife) How did you find us!

Tenebris: Remember what we said about Orku, how it mixes with emotions? we'll the more emotion the stronger the Orku and the easier it is to find you. 

Arthor: I'm done with your Bullshit! what do you want with us!

Tenebris: I want you to make the right decision. 

Arthor: what? Stop being vague and confusing.

Tenebris: I want you to chose to live the best life you could. 

Arthor: and you think the best life we could have is with you? 

Tenebris: Im offering protection, shelter, food, if you want to pass that up and live on the streets, not knowing where your next meal is, then I wont stop you. 

Arthor:  Why do you even care what happens to us, after all were just Kongur to you. 

Tenebris: Well are you? 

Arthor: No! 

Tenebris: then Im not going to treat you like something your not. 

Arthor: I heard you talking to the old guy, you're going to the legions and handing us over. 

Tenebris: (sits down on a rock) look I know you have been through a lot, and you've lost your trust in others, I know what that's like. But I am no legionary and im not going to turn you in. 

Arthor: then how do you know about the Kongur, how can we believe anything you say. 

Tenebris: (pauses) (unwraps his bandages to show the Chaos covering his hand all the way to his chest) The Kongur have taken my past and yours. 

Arthor and karri: (shocked) 

Tenebris: but you still have your whole life ahead of you. Some people don't get that chance. (covers up his arm) Blackheart saw that in you two and risked her life to give you this opportunity to start again, don't throw it away. (walks over and holds out his hand) You don't have to trust me, on anything else, just trust me in this. 

Karri: (pauses for a while)(walks from behind Arthor who tries to stop him but he looks back at Arthor and holds out his hand) 

Arthor: (Hesitantly looks at karri) (then drops the knife and takes his hand) (both walk over to Tenebris)  

Tenebris: Your under my protection now...and im not going to let anything happen to you. 

CHAPTER 11 TRUST FALL

(Tenebris, Arthor and karri get on the small ship with supplies and karri waves to Jaeja as they leave, they pass several islands and come to a barrier and tenebris rises the dagger and they pass through) 

Arthor: what is this place? 

Tenebris: A place that's been forgotten. (they come to the dock) my home... and now it is yours. 

(They get off the boat and carry the supplies into the run down overgrown village.

Karri: where is everyone? 

Tenebris: (almost sad) Gone. 

Karri: Are they coming back anytime soon?

Arthor: ...I don't think so...

Karri: so you have a whole island to yourself? 

Tenebris: not anymore (smiles slightly) 

Arthor: what are you doing..? 

Tenebris: smiling. 

Arthor: no..no stop that its weird. 

Tenebris: (thinking) am I really that sad? 

Arthor: so about that shelter. Where is it? 

Tenebris: anywhere you like. this island is yours now.  

Arthor: the whole island? really?

Tenebris: yes. but it's going to take work.  (they come to a house with broken windows. tenebris lights the fire) but for now you can stay here. (opens his room)

Karri: (looks at a sword and a mask hung up on the wall) if this is your room where are you going to sleep? 

Tenebris: don't worry about me.(brings in some more blankets and pillows and makes another bed) im sure you boys have had a hard....couple years... so get some rest. (goes to close the door) 

Karri: ..Tenebris.. (tenebris opens the door a bit).. (hesitantly) thanks.  

Tenebris: (sits down next to the fire and stares for a while) (he looks over at the prophecy on the table and gets up and walks outside) with them here how am I going to get the prophecy to Chelliah.  I cant go by water, those pirates are on the hunt for me. and its a two week journey if I go through Elvo. that's almost a year in here. who knows if two weeks is even enough time before this prophecy comes true. (looks at his engagement ring) what am I going to do. 

(cut to Arthor and karri some time later )

(their laying in bed)

Arthor: ...hey kar..

Karri: yeah? 

Arthor: im sorry for earlier

Karri: don't worry about it. 

Arthor: no really, If he didn't find us we probably would've slept in some alley way tonight. 

Karri: well we're not so you don't have to worry about that. 

Arthor: but...I just want you to know that... Its my job to take care of you. 

Karri: I know, but its my job to take care of you. 

Arthor: you know what i mean. 

Karri: your only 14 minutes older than me. 

Arthor: yeah and your 14 minutes younger. 

Karri: you know I didn't think about it like that. 

(cut back to tenebris who is walking outside and sits down at a cliff and looks out at the sea)

Tenebris: (fidgeting with his engagement ring) time is running out , and that detour didn't help..... why cant it just be someone else, why me? (his rings glow) (sad) I wish you were here, you'd know what to do.   

CHAPTER 12 HOME

(early the next day) 

Tenebris: (slams open the door)  

Arthor: ( wakes up immediately and pulls his knife out) what the hell was that!? 

Tenebris: your awake aren't you? 

Arthor: you son of a...

Tenebris: Alllllright then time to go

Karri: (wakes up slowly) (yawns) go where? 

Tenebris: I told you id give you shelter and food, I never said it was free. 

Arthor: i knew there was something you weren't telling us. 

Tenebris: if you don't work you don't eat, that's what I was taught, so lets get out there while the day is still fresh. (throws them new clothes and closes the door)

(both stare at the door) 

Karri: put the knife away.

(cut to them walking outside to see tenebris holding fishing nets) 

Tenebris: there are no animals on the islands so we have to go outside the barrier to get fish. 

Arthor: I hate fish. Karri: I love fish

Tenebris: lets go then. (cut to them at the edge of the barrier and tenebris holds up the dagger and passes through) 

Arthor: So what's with the dagger? 

Tenebris: this dagger is a key blade, that allows us to travel in and out of the barrier. 

karri: barrier? 

Tenebris: these islands are protected by a barrier of that energy I was talking about before.

Karri: so cool! 

Arthor: why are abandoned islands being protected by a barrier? 

Tenebris: these islands weren't always abandoned, they once belonged to the Tempurians, the strongest kingdom this world has ever seen. 

Karri: if they were so powerful then where did they go. 

Tenebris: ...(looks sad).... Power is a dangerous thing in this world. everyone wants it, but not everyone should have it. 

Arthor: (notices) 

Karri: oooh look! (points at fish swimming around below them) 

Tenebris: well looks like we're far enough (time-lapse of tenebris teaching them how to fish. arthor gets a small fish and karri gets a massive one that tackles him) (they pull up a net full of fish) 

Tenebris: this should last us a while. good job. (they sail back and tenebris holds up the dagger)

Arthor: so what happens if you don't have a dagger? 

 Tenebris: time on the inside of the barrier moves faster than on the outside due to the higher density of Orku. The dagger allows us to pass through from one time to the other. If someone were to enter without a key blade they would experience both times simultaneously and age at an extreme rate

Twins: (staring at him confused)

Tenebris: If you didn't have the key you'd get older very fast. 

Arthor: Woah   Karri: still don't get it.

Arthor: if time moves faster inside why would anyone want to live there? 

Tenebris: The more Orku someone has the longer they live, and the Tempurians being as strong as they were lived for thousands of years. For them it was like 1 day was like 100 years for a normal person. so the barrier allowed them to age at the same rate as everyone else. 

Karri: wait, we're not Tempurians does that mean we're going to die quicker!? 

Tenebris: you're ageing at the same speed you normally would. its just sped up for people outside the barrier. 

Arthor: how long have you been here?  

Tenebris: a long time. (they take the fish and carry them off the boat to the house) 

Tenebris: (starts cooking the fish while arthor and karri talk) (arthor notices the scroll) 

Arthor: You had this when they brought you in at barrok, what is it? 

Tenebris: That is very important. (grabs it from arthor and puts it on the counter next to him) 

Arthor: (sus)

(gets done cooking and serves them some tasty looking fish) 

Karri: (digs in and enjoys it) mmm this is good. (looks over to arthor) try some! 

Arthor: (disgusted) all right...(takes a small bite) (thinking) this is really good, but I cant let him know that. (aloud) its alright. 

Karri: WhAA!?  this is the best food I've ever had!  

Tenebris: good. well theirs more where that came from. (turns around and starts cleaning up)

Arthor: so who were those glowing people that were fighting back on the ship

Tenebris: (stops suddenly and looks up)...that's enough questions for one day. 

Arthor: okay (sus) 

Tenebris: besides im sure you would rather explore Chronosis a little more today. 

Karri: (still with fish in his mouth) YEAH! 

Arthor: fine with me. 

(cut to the three walking outside past the rundown city to the Forrest, karri still eating fish) 

Arthor: if you live all by yourself here, why were you going through the thousand isles? 

Tenebris: what did i tell you about questions

Karri: (mouth full of food) yeah im curious about that too, how'd you end up all the way out there?

Tenebris: "hggh" remember that scroll arthor had earlier

Arthor: yeah  Karri: nope

Tenebris: that message is for the legions

Arthor: what!? 

Tenebris: (stops for a second) now its my turn for a question. why do you hate the legions so much? 

Arthor: those stuck up bastards say their supposed to keep the peace but all they do is kill anyone who goes against them and their "purpose". no ones safe from their grasp even if your in the legions, they'll kill you if it means getting power or money. 

(Tenebris surprised) 

Karri: our parents...

Arthor: karri! 

Karri: he deserves to know

Arthor: "agh"

Karri: Our parents were not royals or nobility by an means, so we did have much money. they thought being legionaries would get them respect and wealth while helping others, but that couldn't be farther from the truth. 

Arthor: they worked so hard everyday to climb their way though the legions, they were even being considered to be Royal knights.

Karri: I remember their faces when they received the invitation to go to the capital. 

Arthor: But they never made it there. (almost crying) The legions didn't exactly like the idea that some peasants from some small town were going to be in charge. The day before they left they found them dead in the Legions barracks. 

(they stand in silence for a while) 

Arthor: there, you wanted the reason why I hate the legions. 

Tenebris: im sorry... 

Arthor: yeah im sure you are. 

Tenebris: no really, I know what its like to be hated because of your power. 

Karri: (wiping his tears) you said you used to be a legionary why did you leave? 

Tenebris: (looks sad) since you told me your story I guess its fair I tell you mine...

Arthor: (looks around) wait! I hear something coming!

Tenebris: what? but that's impossible, we're the only ones on this island. 

Arthor: It's coming from over there! (he points into the Forrest near some bushes that start rustling)

Tenebris: (stands in front of them and his eyes and rings light up) stay behind me! 

CHAPTER 13 NEW LIFE

(the chapter opens with Tenebris stand in front of arthor and karri ready for a battle) 

Tenebris: Show yourself!  

(A small penguin falls out of the bushes, onto his face) 

Tenebris: wasn't expecting that? 

Arthor: what is that!?! 

Tenebris: Its a Chrono-penguin, but i thought they were a myth (thinking) how long has this thing been on the island without me knowing? 

Arthor: what do we do? 

Tenebris: Legends say this creature is said to hold unlimited power. it is believed that the Chrono penguins have control over time itself. I've never seen one before so I have no idea what its capable of. 

(the penguin stands up and waddles over to karri whose holding a fish) (karri throws it the fish and it eats it up)

Tenebris: or I guess it might just be a penguin

Arthor: Unlimited power eh? 

Karri: I love It! (he goes over to the penguin and picks it up) can i keep it! 

Arthor and tenebris: No!

Karri: why not! 

Tenebris: Chrono penguins are extremely rare and powerful creatures that I thought were extinct.  It's too dangerous. 

Arthor: it doesn't look dangerous. 

Tenebris: I don't want to take any chances (he grabs the penguin from karri and puts it back in the woods) get (pushes it with his food)

Karri: we cant just leave it!

Tenebris: its survived on the island this long. we shouldn't interfere with it. besides its getting late we should head back. (they start walking and arthor drags karri off) 

Karri: Nooo my buddy! 

(cut to them walking back into town and the penguin following them) 

Tenebris: (looks back and it waddles behind a tree) (thinking) If that penguin is alive on the island maybe some other creatures are too, but I didn't even sense any Orku emanating from it at all. what is that thing, and why did it show up now? wait I didn't sense anything from it...

Tenebris: Arthor how did you know that it was there? I couldn't sense anything 

Arthor: I heard it walking towards us.

Tenebris: I didn't hear that. 

Karri: He's good with music so he's got a good ear! 

Arthor: (elbows him) Karri: ow! 

Tenebris: a musician? 

Arthor: (angrily) what you think that's lame or something!? 

Tenebris: no just, unexpected. 

Arthor: (his angry face softens a bit) 

(they walk into the house and close the door)

Tenebris: well, Today was full of surprises wasn't it? (goes to sit down but theirs a knock at the door) 

Tenebris: (opens the door) (looks down and the penguins standing there) why are you following us? go away we have nothing here for you! (closes the door and starts to walk away) (there's another knock on the door)  (tenebris walks back over annoyed and opens the door) What!? 

Penguin: "chirp"

Tenebris: . . . . fine (the penguin walks past him and jumps up into karris arms) 

Karri: Buddy! 

Tenebris: Im too old for this (he closes the door behind him) I guess you can keep the penguin. 

Karri: YEAY!!! what should we name it!

Tenebris: (walks into the kitchen in the background)(muttering to himself) Randomly got two kids sure yeah that's fine, now we got a pet of course why not. 

Arthor: if its as strong as tenebris says we should give it a fierce name like Eric Blood Axe or something

Karri: Yeah like Joseph. 

Arthor: how is Joseph a scary name 

Karri: your right, lets compromise....Johsef. 

Arthor: . . . .sure. 

Karri: I got just the thing (he runs into the bedroom and comes back with a raggedy piece of red)  cloth) I got this is barrok (puts the cloth like a scarf on Johsef) 

Johsef: (holds the scarf) " happy chirp" 

(cut to arthor getting into bed and karri messing around with Johsef) 

Arthor: do you really believe Johsef's as dangerous as tenebris says? 

Karri: he's not dangerous at all are ya

Johsef: "Chirp" 

Karri: see! he's just missing his family. . . . . Just like us. 

Arthor: (shocked) (rolls over slightly in bed to see karri playing with johsef) (and turns back around) (he holds up a yang bracelet and clutches it)  

(they put out the light and lay down and go to sleep) (a little while later arthor gets up and sees karri asleep with johsef on top of him sleeping) (he gets up and walks out into the living room where tenebris is sitting watching the fire)

CHAPTER 14 NEW ADDITION

(Arthor walks out and tenebris looks over) 

Tenebris: couldn't sleep? 

Arthor: no...

Tenebris: well I don't think you'll sleep any better out here. 

Arthor: probly not... (he sits down on the chair next to tenebris' ) 

Tenebris: something keeping you awake? Is it cold i can grab another blanket? 

Arthor: no... I was just wondering why your being so kind to us? 

Tenebris: well it's like I told you already I made a promise to Blackheart that I would protect you and...

Arthor: No I know that's what you told us but I think theirs another reason. 

Tenebris: Another reason...listen im not going to take you to the legions I don't know what to tell you to convince you of that. 

Arthor: NO..no, I know your not but that's not what I was talking about... 

Tenebris: (sits back in his seat) 

Arthor: I've seen the way you look at those rings, and how yo talk about this place. you try to hide it, but I can tell, your sad whenever you talk about it. 

Tenebris: "heh" you know your very grown up for how young you are. 

Arthor: It's not by choice. 

Tenebris: "hgm" . . . It's hard for me to remember things...(he puts his arm up) I think it has something to do with this. its like everyday is a blur...But their is A few things I will never forget. . . My father was a legionary...and he worked very hard at his job. maybe too hard. He trained me every single day, from the day I was born to the day until the day I became a legionary myself and I hated it, every second...So I ran, but there's not far to go when you live on an island. I guess, hearing your story, reminded me...of me. I saw two kids in the same situation i had been in such a long time ago, I didn't want you to have to go through that. no one should have to. 

Arthor: is that why you left the legions? 

Tenebris: its the reason I joined. I saw what the legions stood for firsthand. I wanted to make them better, to make the world better. (looks at his bandaged hand) turns out, it doesn't matter how bright your light is, the darkness will do everything to snuff it out. 

Arthor: look im sorry for what I said about you and being so Suspicious of you. 

Tenebris: Don't apologies, you had every reason to. 

Arthor: but all you've done since we meet was show us kindness, and all I've done is go against you about everything, and demand answers. . . . So I just want to say, im sorry and I'm thankful for taking us in, I really am. 

Tenebris: We'll im glad, you feel comfortable enough to say that. 

(cut to karri and Johsef asleep) (johsef opens his eyes and looks at the door and his eyes start glowing and he stands up) (karri wakes up) 

Karri: (half asleep) whats going on johsef? 

Johsef: "angrily chirps at the door" 

Karri: (gets up and opens the door to see arthor and tenebris) 

Arthor: (sees Johsef run to the door with karri) what's going on? 

Karri: There's something outside! 

Tenebris: what!? (he gets up and goes to the door) 

Arthor: are we not going to acknowledge the Glowing all-powerful penguin? 

(Tenebris opens the door and Johsef starts to runs out into the town with karri behind him. karri picks up johsef and starts running with him out of the city and into the Forrest) 

Tenebris: wait! "agh" come on (Arthor and tenebris start running after karri)

Tenebris: (catches up) what did I tell you about that thing!? (they stop)

Karri: there's something that he's following 

Tenebris: what is it following? 

Karri: I don't know but its important. I can feel it 

Tenebris: its dangerous in the Forrest at night, you could get lost! (Johsef jumps out of his arms and runs a little farther and stops) 

Arthor: (catches up and is out of breath) why are you guys so fast? 

(karri walks over with tenebris behind him) 

Arthor: (throws his hands up) Aight, dont say anything. 

(they walk over to Johsef who is standing still and they see the Library of Taresseus) 

Tenebris: why would he lead us here? 

(Johsef walks into the library) 

Karri: wait! (runs in after him) 

Tenebris and Arthor: karri stop! (as they run in too) (the camera pulls out from the door to the library. )  

CHAPTER 15 WHAT HAPPENDS IN THE DARK STAYS THE NIGHT
