I flew down and landed just a few dozen feet from my cottage. It was a nice little place far in the back of the woods, nice and secluded, great for any Fae on the run. I shifted back to my usaual form and streched my limbs and tapped my hooves on the ground a couple times, flying was always such a bothersome way to travel, always left me stiff everywhere. I took another cautios look around before I walked up to my cottage and opened the front door.

I quietly opened the door, doing my best not to make to much noise, if Lily was still asleep, I didn't want to wake her unnecessarily yet. I crept through the cottage slowly, before I stopped suddenly when I hear noises in the kitchen. Moving as quietly as I could, I moved to the doorway of the kitchen and leaned against the frame as I watched Lily preparing a meal. She was lovely and looked like most satyrs. With long black hair and amber eyes, course she looked stunning, but that's not what made her special to me. Lily was the most caring person he had ever met, and even after she found out I smuggled people out of the Feywild, she just wanted to help me do it, rather than try to tell me its too dangerous, which it certainly was.

I stayed next to the frame for a few more seconds just admiring her before I went ahead and let out a small "Ahem" to get her attention.

Lily turns around, and upon seeing me smiles and gives me a small wave "Good afternoon 'Rim, did everything go alright in town?"

"Oh yeah, everything was fine, even got the information on the next batch of people we'll be helping." I paused for just a moment and gave her a worried glance "Are you sure Lily, I know I make this stuff look easy and talk it up quite a bit, but it is actually dangerous. I mean it involves sneaking into Senaliesse. That alone means that-"

As I was speaking Lily walked over to me and clasped both my hands with hers. "Its going to be ok, besides, you're going to be there with me right?"

I stopped briefly before speaking again "I mean, yeah, but-"

She put a finger to my mouth to stop my sentence short "Then I know that I'll be fine. Not only will I have you there to support me" and she takes her finger away from my mouth to tap a small rabbits foot attached to a chain on her wrist "But I also have your magic to support me, As long as I have you with me, 'Rim, I know everything is going to turn out fine."

I let out a small sigh and nod "Ok, ok. Guess I'm worrying over nothing."
"Exactly, I even have my own magic to fall back on if it comes to it" Lily tapped at a small pouch on her hip, containing a deck of cards. "So we've got nothing to worry about."

I let out a small chuckle "Right, cant be worried with my resident high sorceress around."

Lily gave me a small pouting look "Not claiming I'm super amazing or anything, just that I know how to handle myself."

“Of course, of course, not trying to say you couldn’t. I'm glad your so confident in my ability though, how about I help you finish that food, and we leave worrying about all that till late, huh?”

Lily nodded before turning around on a single hoof and walking to the counter “I’d be fine with that, and id certainly like you finally helping with food, sure we don’t actually need it, but its nice to do, and easier with help."

I nod and walk over to the counter with her "Great, then lets go ahead and make something good together." I gave lily a quick kiss on the cheek and picked up a whisk to help her put a meal together for the both of us

Lily and me made a nice meal together and simply spent time with each other and tried not to worry to much about what was to come. We spent a simple night together and kept each other company.
