Gilded Hoard

The Gilded Hoard is the oldest and most well-known bank, with branches all across the Morning Realm. The Bank is based in the hoard of an ancient dragon.

Summon or Banish Currency

Summon or Banish Currency is a spell created by the Gilded Hoard to enable their bankers to withdraw and deposit money while away from an official branch. It can only be cast by a Wizard of the School of Accounting with valid certification.

Gold Pieces

Gold Pieces (symbol: ℜ; abbreviated gp), also known as drakes, are the most common currency in the realm. The coins are minted by the Gilded Hoard, who issues three coins; the Gold Drake, the Silver Sun, and the Copper Cent.

Fairday

Fairday is the fifth day of the week between Homeday and Launderday. While fairs usually are held on Fairday, the name comes from an ancient human word meaning divine.

Imperial Common

Imperial Common is the trade language of the Morning Realm. It is the most commonly spoken second language, and is quickly becoming the most common native language in the Argosian Empire.

Dragon

Dragons are intelligent and massive serpentine creatures that emerge when large quantities of wealth are hoarded. Dragons are deeply magical with elemental powers as well as a strong bond with their hoard.

Cosmology

A mostly dead Creator floats in an Endless Sea. Stars dot the void above the Morning Realm, and underneath the Realms, deep down in the Cosmic Waters, the Abyss yawns.

Woodland Pact

A Woodland Pact is a series of treaties between a nation and the folk native to the nation establishing their right to self-determination. The first Woodland Pact was made in the Castellan Kingdoms.

Imperial Teleportation Network

The Imperial Teleportation Network ( abbreviated ITN ) is a network of portals that enable fast international travel. It is operated by the Imperial Magisterium. Travel with the ITN will typically cost 250ℜ per trip.

Courdonne

A few centuries ago, the seasonal courts of Courdonne was the place to see and be seen. Now dignity has long given way to depravity, and the courts are as deadly as they are decadent. The former heart of the world seethes.

Boiling Mountains

The Boiling Mountains, sometimes called the worldspine, is a massive mountain range that runs from east to west and divides the realm.

Throne of the Gods

The Throne of the Gods, also known as Throne, is the tallest mountain in the realm, and the site at which Godlich Krorus confronted the gods and ascended. The mountain is considered sacred to the Theocracy of Krorus.

Deity

A deity, also known as a god, is a supreme being with a divine nature. Deities primarily exist in the material world as suns, but in the past they walked the realm alongside their followers.

Lacy Ladies

Lacy Ladies, also known as Poor Man's Doily, Lace Cups and Fairy Veils are mushrooms known for the intricate lace-like patterns on it's cap. The mushrooms are much beloved for its appearance.

The Endless Sea, also called the ocean, is an infinite saltwater ocean that surrounds the Morning Realm. The further out from the continent, the deeper the seabed, until it eventually becomes too deep to measure.

Launderday

Launderday is the sixth day of the week between Fairday and Sunday. The name is derived from "Launder Day", meaning the day for laundering or cleaning.

Villiers

Life in the mountainous northern region is harsh and cold. Villiers is known for cold weather, their tenacious griffon riders, and the strange song in the mountains that keeps luring their own away.

Ravna Toradottir, better known as Ravna Redhand or Ravna the Usurper, is the current Queen of Villiers. She overthrew her nephew to become queen.
