Craft Wars
Two households, both alike in mischief’s might,
Deep in the cavern, where we set our stage,
From ancient craft-feuds spark a fresh delight,
Where harmless pranks still threaten to upstage.
From paint-splattered halls of these two rival crews
A pair of glitter-cross’d scoundrels start a fight;
Whose misadventured, glitter-laden hues
Turn every duel into a sparkling sight.
The fateful passage of their marker wars
Orange for Ailurus, red for Chiropteran might
And all the petty chaos each side pours
(Which only laughter’s end could e’er make right)
Is now the hour’s traffic of our scene:
If you but lend your patient eyes to glow,
What silliness we miss, our craft shall show.
The Conflict
Prelude
As a result of the honestly pretty good trickery cruel betrayal unsavoury strategic maneuver of the Bard with many names and the other Kitsune-gumi during WW6, the trust between him and Queen Tara was deeply shattered and she hates me now understandably strained.
Ever since the beginning of the Tourney, Bard could be found on her windowsill, asking to be let in through the window again, which she refused.
Out of deep mistrust towards his entire House worry for her friends dang it precaution she started to research the cookies and other baked goods of House Ailurus, too. One of them was boobytrapped with a glitterbomb, covering her and her entire office in crafting herpes. This act of aggression was the final straw and started a very, VERY serious conflict between the Houses Chiroptera and Ailurus that absolutely was not just an excuse to craft silly things and have fun together.
The Gauntlet has been thrown. Both sides are sharpening their scissors, just waiting for the first gluestick to come out. Everyone, from every House, is invited to pick a side and join the crafting Chaos!
Deployment
What to expect?
Every day, another craft will be introduced from Bard and Tara. Everyone is invited to try it out, but also to just share their current work or whatever else they are willing to take into this fight on life or glitter. Roleplay about this is highly encouraged.
Will Bard and Tara be able to fix their friendship? Or will the window forever be closed? Your stick figure could make the difference!

The glittercookie that started it all has not even been eaten yet. The first craft has yet to be revealed!Date: 05/04/26
Although Tara is suspect on the cookies (though for a completely different reason), the Bat Squad sneak one into her tea time leaving her covered in orange glitter before she can eat the cookie.Phyreball and his Stokers are quick to begin cleaning - opening the window Bard sits on and knocking him off. Then dumping extra glitter on top afterwards.
"THIS IS WAR" is heard through the Caverns as wings and feet thunder to the Craft Lounge ...

Deeply hurt by the malicious attempt on his life while still trying for diplomacy, Bard seems determined to end the conflict fast and brutal. Not only is he seen handling copious amounts of salt, clearly meant to salt the earth, no, this fairy boy doesn't even stop at straight up war crimes and steals all the remaining flour of Queen Tara, clearly planning to stave her.Wha– I– It wasn't even half a cup! And I borrowed it! How was I supposed to know that was all the flour she had? Who only owns half a cup of flour?
His flimsy excuses do nothing to lessen the fact that after the Geneva convention, stealing food is a crime and should be handled as such.
Are you kidding me? I just wanted to make her a present!

Queen Tara's emotions burst.All we know is that those we fought for, those we were thought we were close to, those we thought we could trust and rely on ... aren't that anymore!She rips an image of her friendship with Bard in two. The hours taken to make it, the heartfelt words written on the back: now sundered.
