GoT Branding Statement

These are things to keep in mind for the feel and look of Game of Tomes.  
Voice and tone
modern, magical, urban fantasy, house/team based, let the houses take the center stage with color and lore
Values and mission
We feel that the written word is infinitely impactful. We care about: encouraging writers, making lasting connections, and having fun along the way.
Visual identity
books, magic, MagiTech , over all colors are mainly neutrals with maroons (possibly another accent color?)
Personal story
GoT was created when a writer sat around the kitchen table with her life-partners, trying to emulate a team writing event on Twitter she liked to participate in, but lasting for a whole month instead of a few hours. She asked her writer friends to help, and the first ones who said yes became the first House Leaders. As writing streamers, they settled on Twitch for their platform. Community reports that were created in video format, like a sporting event, soon blossomed into a plotline and universe inspired by the events of the game. Game of Tomes became a sensation in the Twitch writing community, and quickly grew into a year-round community of its own, run by enthusiastic, grassroots volunteers.
