Fortress Thyme
Fortress Thyme was created by Princess Rowean during The First Word War. Using her newly minted Literomantic powers, she fortified her family's hereditary homestead with enormous, redwood-sized versions of local trees—poplar, spruce, and pine—sheltering her friends and family from the onslaught.
In later years, fruit trees were added alongside a massive, heavy-duty reinforced chain-link fence that extends 8 feet underground and 18 feet into the air. Topped with molecularly sharp razor wire, this perimeter fence sits a mile out from the fortress, mirrored by a second identical layer just inside it. Within this boundary lies the infamous dire boar run, colloquially known as the "Pig Moat", home to Literomancy-enhanced, genetically altered wild pigs originally descended from escaped European wild boar stock.

Divulging any part of this secret without clearance may result in the culprit becoming fertilizer for the carnivorous roses. Princess Rowean lives here in part during the summer, and it is also the training location of riding dire boars that are used by her personal regiment, and especially, The March Hares. There is also one of the Princess' quicker travel Tree Path entry ways at this location.
