My friends, a matter of deep concern has come to my attention that I have a duty to inform you of. It grieves me greatly to have to tell you this. I hope you won't overreact, and yet it's significant enough that I have no choice but to take that risk.   We have identified the person who poisoned me. However, they were not operating under their own volition, and are themself a victim, just as I am.   Lord Galakrond has been compromised. At some point, likely during his period of captivity with the Company, he has been infected with nanobots that can control his mind and behaviour. This effect appears to operate by sending a sonic signal, something not dissimilar to the technology of The Bat Network, which we all know was created by the Company.   We don't know what sort of proximity is required to send this signal. It may be done by satellite.   We have video evidence of Galakrond putting poison directly into the chili that I subsequently ate. However, it was clear from the first that he was acting strangely. It was as though someone literally turned a switch on and off. He has no memory of the incident, as far as we can tell.   These nanobots were created by incorporating a code intended to run a swarm of bots as a video game hack, into what is likely molecular nanobots that were reverse engineered from Dinotech, or may actually be Dinotech.   The creator of the program that directs the Dinotech was none other than █████████████████, who thought that a video game hack was what ██ had licensed to the Company. ██ had no knowledge of why they wanted it, what they were using it for, or the extent of the evil the Company is capable of.   You may have heard a rumour that ██████ is at the Warren and under my protection. That rumour is true. ██████ is devastated by the knowledge of what ███ creation has done, and is working night and day on a solution.   To our knowledge, this is the only time that the bots have been activated to use Gala in this way. But because this poses a significant security threat, it is important you be informed. We don't believe the bots can relay what Gala sees or hears, due to the way in which this has been used, but it is possible. Hearing is more likely than seeing. However, we're pretty sure they were using Galakrond to send out all the leaked security footage from the Warren, and they may have continued to use him in this way during the smear campaign.   Electromagnetic interference is what we think scrambled the cameras. This is a signature Voidtouched trait, which is why we thought to look for it.   Galakrond is now consciously aware of this and has removed himself from the Warren as a result. To our knowledge, so far I am the only one who has been attacked. But it's possible the bots act on him in such a way that they prevent him from telling anyone else. Thus, that duty falls to me.   I can't tell you how devastated I am to have to give you this information. I hope you will not hold Galakrond responsible for this, since it is clearly not his fault. However, I must advise against including him in any of your security planning, even for the coming of the Horde, at this time.   That is all the information we currently have.   Please understand that I have told you this in the deepest confidence, and prefer this not be made publicly known, to avoid sullying the reputations of literomancers among the general public any further.
