Rabbit Crack

"Rabbit Crack" is a blend of carrot juice and banana juice favoured by House Lapin. Hailed as a beneficial health drink, it is also a natural source of electrolytes, and helps to fight Magic Drain in Literomancers.   Best of all for the Lapinites? It's a blend of their two favourite foods in the world. Two food sources that are regarded by rabbits and other lagomorphs as candy.   Its taste is described as an "earthy" banana flavour with a bright undertone. Some really enjoy it, while others find it "odd." Mostly, preference seems to be grounded in whether or not a given person enjoys carrots.

History

When Queen Sable's was prescribed regular doses of Crocoade to restore her electrolytes to fight Magic Drain, her sister, Princess Rowean, who hated the taste of Crocoade and is generally of the opinion that chemical foods and drinks are bad for you, researched a natural alternative. It was simply good fortune that she discovered that two favourites of rabbits everywhere combined to make a drink as effective for restoring vitamins, electrolytes, and minerals as the formulation of the sports drink. The Bunny Queen laughingly referred to it as "Rabbit Crack" when it was served to her for the first time — and the name stuck.   Crocoade is still stocked for literomancers in the Royal Lapin Armed Forces, however, because rabbit crack does not keep nearly as well, and must be refridgerated to avoid a variety of potential food poisoning concerns. However, when fresh rabbit crack is available, it is almost always preferred by Lapinites.

Significance

A Lapinite health drink company is now marketing carrot and banana juice combinations under the name Rabbit Crack, and they have received Princess Rowean's Royal Warrant.   Rabbit Crack is also available under that name in the JuiceGo! chain store, which serves a variety of healthy, freshly juiced drinks and smoothies.
