The Iron Crowns of the Woodlanders
The Iron Crowns of the Woodlanders are a set of three crowns and three coronets owned by the Houses Ailurus, Lapin, and Meles. Each House owns one crown (for the monarch) and one coronet (for the second-in-command). The crowns and coronets were forged to be symbols of unity in the Woodland Family Alliance.
Materials
These crowns and coronets are forged from intricately-worked Meteoric Iron, some of it covered in a thin sheet of gold, platinum, and/or heat-treated titanium, and gems representative of the three Houses. For Lapin, star rubies are used; for Meles, emeralds are used; and for Ailurus, hessonite garnet is used. The Meteoric Iron used in these crowns is sourced from three of the four meteorites that were summoned when RPGDinosaurBob cast Meteor Swarm over Aldergrove. The fourth meteorite was gifted to House Sauropoda in the form of three sets of polyhedral dice after the end of the Third Word War as a show of remembrance and goodwill. The gems sourced for the crowns either come from AttorraRu's dragon horde or are ethically mined in the Lapin or Meles Protectorates. All gold used in these crowns and coronets is reclaimed gold from recycled computer components. The titanium is sourced from broken machinery in the pulp and paper industry, which is heat-treated for a rainbow color after being recycled. The platinum is ethically mined in the Lapin Protectorate.Enchantments
Out of the ashes, a new beginning. Out of the darkness, a light. Out of despair, bring hope for our future. Three crowns forged in might.Enchantments
These crowns, the symbol of our alliance Of our bonds of blood and love And these dice, a gift to give our to friends Who saved us with flames from above
Let the bonds between our Houses endure! Let us all extend our trust! For we are stronger when we work together And we can bring life out of dust!
The Iron Crowns of the Woodlanders are enchanted with a three-fold spell of prosperity, cooperation, and amplification. The prosperity section of the spell allows the Crowns' Holders to cause crops planted on their land to grow faster. Crown Holders are those Literomantically bound to a Woodlander Crown or Coronet. Dice Holders are those in possession of a full set of Meteoric Dice.
The cooperation section of the spell allows the Crowns' Holders and the holders of each set of Dice to draw on each other's Literomantic reserves. The Dice Holders can only use this ability if in possession of all 7 dice. If any of the dice are lost, the set is considered null and void. The Woodlander Crowns, however, only function for the designated Rulers and/or Heirs of Houses Ailurus, Lapin, and Meles. If any of these Houses ceases to exist, the appropriate Crowns lose their function.
The amplification portion of the spell allows an Literomantic effort done with two or more Crown Holders to be amplified proportionately. If a Crown Holder engages in cooperative magic with others, the amplification acts as a multiplier instead of an exponent. In TTRPG-style, these effects stack, although exponents are applied before multipliers. The coronets are just as effective as the crowns.
