Gwenefre Character in Game of Tomes | World Anvil

Gwenefre (GWIN-uh-veer | / ˈgwɪn əˌvɪər /)

Dame Gwenefre , LSV

Dame Gwenefre is one of the Owsla and a dedicated member of House Lapin.

Physical Description

General Physical Condition

Gwen is in excellent physical shape, and trains regularly in paramilitary tactics and personal combat, along with the rest of the Owsla.

Body Features

Gwenefre prefers her half-bunny form and can be most frequently seen in that form. In her human form, she is a powerfully built older woman. In her full rabbit form, she is a powerfully built Flemish giant rabbit with brown fur, occasionally seen with shield and Norse horned helm.   Height and weight are both above average for a female bunny, thanks to the intensive weapons training necessary for membership of the Owsla, and early digging practice.

Facial Features

Eyes: Deep, resonant pools of liquid amber a boy-bunny could lose themselves in.   Fur: Whatever color takes her fancy at the moment (she's dyed it so often, she can't remember the original color)

Special abilities

Dame Gwenefre is a potent literomancer, although she is not necessarily counted among the power writers. Still, she comes close, and that is largely from sheer persistence.

Mental characteristics

Personal history

Dame Gwenefre has been a member of the Lapin Fluffle most of her life. She volunteered for the Owsla in the middle of The Second Word War, and became legend for using her literomancy to defend one of the main escape tunnels just like Bigwig in Watership Down. She was later awarded the Lapin Star of Valour for this action.   Gwen, as she is known to her friends, is dedicated to the Fluffle. Her service in the Owsla is service to her House; not to the Chief Rabbit per se. During the smear campaign against Queen Sable, she even questioned whether or not her Queen might be unsuited to lead the House, but her doubts were later put to rest when Sable rose to the challenge.

Sexuality

Heterosexual

Accomplishments & Achievements

Dame Gwenefre has received a Lapin Star of Valour for her solo defense of an escape tunnel at The Warren during the Battle of the Warren.

Morality & Philosophy

As a member of the Owsla, Gwenefre would attempt to be Lawful, but her Neutral tendencies would frequently come to the fore, if what she sees as Good is in danger. For her, Good is defined as whatever is best for the Fluffle, and the integrity of the Warren. This comes before everything, even her loyalty to the Queen. So, Neutral (with Lawful tendencies) Good would probably best describe her.

Personality Characteristics

Savvies & Ineptitudes

Gwen is exceptionally skilled with her magical literomantic axe. If she has a flaw, it's that her tactics typically run to digging. She genuinely seems to believe that digging will solve most problems.
