Ser Pastriton

Ser Pastriton the Flakey , Royal Knight of the Order of the Wooden Spoon

Ser Pastriton is the Pastry Chef LitMon that has joined the side of House Ailurus's Seneschal, HappyHappySad.   Ser Pastriton is a fun-loving little baker with a penchant for pie crust in all its forms. While normally stoic in public, Happy has been known to devolve into a cuteness overload over her LitMon no matter who is watching. She also loudly declares that she has the best Pastry Chef in the entire House, and is willing to get into physical altercations to prove that point.

The Story of the First Ever Annual Pastry Chef Appreciation Pageant

Hosted by Seneschal Happyhappysad
There is no shortage of Pastry Chefs running around the Penwall Treehouse, but one stands head and shoulders above the rest. It is so obviously the smartest, the nicest, the most talented, the sweetest, the-   Chaos devolves as each Ailurusian claims their Pastry Chef is the best, shouting over each other until a fistfight starts in the center of the conference room. Happy claws her way to the top of the pile with a PowerPoint presentation.   Ahem. As I was saying.

The first time the little Red Panda curled around Happy’s shoulders as they made a peach tart, they didn't think much of it. But unbeknownst to them, it was actually watching their hands with fascination, learning every step of the process of making pie dough. When it was done, Happy offered her little friend a small slice of the tart, because it had clearly bonded with her, and feeding pack was the right thing to do for a Werecoyote.
In retrospect, this may have been where the trouble started.
It started simply: a container of flour tipped over in the middle of the night, dirty dishes in the sink no one would claim, a bowl of fruit gone missing.
That was supposed to be my breakfast!

But it quickly escalated from there. From jam and crumbs left all over the floor to crashing noises in the middle of the night, it became obvious that someone, or something, was using the kitchen when no one else was around. It was only when Happy, after a late night of work, went to the kitchen at midnight to get some tea that she found a gaggle of would-be Pastry Chefs up to their elbows in butter and flour, led by her little friend.

And she looked at them. And she looked at them. And she looked at them!
And they looked at her. And they looked at her. And they looked at her!

And Happy decided that she didn't have the time or energy to figure out what was going on, so she'd deal with it in the morning.

When Happy woke, the little Red Panda who had watched her make the tart all those weeks ago was asleep on her pillow next to her. On the floor next to the bed was a strawberry crostata with a few bites taken out of it.
Happy ate it. It was very good. And the little chef was definitely pack now, since it had made her food, so it was her duty to name it and make it part if her family. Which she did. Very calmly.

Happy, you ran around banging on everybody's doors at 6 am, yelling about how you had found the smartest LitMon in the world and we should all be jealous.

  Not important.
ANYWAY, such a bold and forward thinking litmon needed just as grand a name! So Happy, not knowing its gender (or even if litmon have genders… we'll circle back to that later) christened it “Ser Pastriton” in honor of its contributions to the Ailurus kitchen and the Pastry Movement.
But the great deeds of Ser Pastriton did not end there! No, far from it. It did not want to rest on its laurels, and in addition to becoming a world renowned Chef, Ser Pastriton also became a spokesperson, a suffragette, an advocate for LitMon accessibility everywhere!
After the Ailurus Pastry Chefs started popping up in kitchen all over the place, an issue very quickly became apparent. All the kitchen tools and surfaces were designed for human sized people, not litmons. And so, Ser Pastriton launched a tireless campaign for kitchen accessibility. (Mostly by hitting Happy in the shins with cooking utensils until she fixed the problem.)
And for this tremendous service to the LitMon community, it was decided to award the Highest Honor to Ser Pastriton. No longer would it be a Ser in name only. Ser Pastriton was officially knighted, and will henceforth be known as Ser Pastriton the Flakey, Royal Knight of the Order of the Wooden Spoon!

Wait, a Royal Knight? That doesn't make sense. Our government is a council, not a monarchy. Happy, did you make up a knighthood just to knight your LitMon?

Excuse me, its a very real knighthood with a long and storied history! Plus, I'm in charge of most of the paperwork around here, so I got it official and everything. I only nominated him. Bard signed off on it.

Wait, that's what that paperwork was?!

And if anyone has any further complaints, I invite them to have a piece of the definitely-not-a-bribe chocolate éclair cake that Ser Pastriton made for this very occasion.
And thus was the eponymous Ser Pastriton the Flakey, Royal Knight of the Order of the Wooden Spoon, officially recognized as the bestest litmon in all of Ailurus. Beloved by all: by friends, by pack, by fellow litmon, and by anyone who tasted its cooking.
Except, perhaps, the person who has to do the dishes after. But we rotate the responsibility so no one has to do it too often.
