Slideshow Night - September 2026

  It's the start of the school year for million of people around the world. And even if you aren't going back to school, it's a time of year where many tend to bust out the classics and settle in to read the big books on our shelves. Being inspired by this scolarly time of year, and a conversation I had the other day on the discord, I was inspired to make the next mini-challenge a slideshow night.
 

What is a slideshow night?

It is when you and a bunch of your friends get together to talk about special interest, things you are passionate about, books you've read recently. It's a perfect excuse to talk about whatever you are currently interested in. Typically the presentations are 10 to 15 minutes so please keep it around there.
 

Do I have to do a presentation or can I just watch?

Of course you can just watch! Not everyone wants to talk in front of everyone, nor does everyone have the time. So feel free to just bring snacks (or dinner) and hang out.
 

What program should I use?

Whatever you have access to. Canva, Power Point, and Google slides are all good options.
 

When and where are we doing this?

Saturday September 26th at 1 PM NYT. This will be happening in the GOT discord in the #general-voice channel.

How do I sign up?

I know, mini-challenges don't normally equal paper work but this paper work is super easy. I promise. If you are interested in coming to hang out, please fill out the form in the discord or message or use this link.
