Imogen (ˈɪmədʒən)
Imogen Callaway
I swear to gods I will tape you to the Treehouse so you don’t go undead again. Do not tempt me, Bard.
Imogen is a Wereraccoon who came to House Meles from House Ailurus during theTomesmas 2025 festivities. She jumped right into the thick of things, helping out wherever she could which led to her being offered a position in the Brocktrees.
While she feels she might not be the best ideas person, she is very dedicated to helping out in any way she can. Even if it means ignoring basic self care. (She'll tell you that she's trying to get better, then agree to edit something .5 seconds later if it would help.)
She avoids conflict unless you screw with her people then, as the wise poet once said, "Pick a god and pray." The claws come out in full force in November as well.
Literomanctic Areas
Post joining the ranks of the Literomancers officially, she started researching how to make magical arrows out of scraps she finds in the trash. She is currently researching Glitter, explosive, and net arrows, which are still in a fledgling state, but she’s optimistic about getting them to work come the next Word War.
Sure you have guns, Glitterbombs, magic and what have you. But sometimes you just want a bow, ya know?
Interests
Imogen can be found up in trees around Windy Willows taking naps in raccoon form on nice days. When not snoozing she likes to practice archery, reading in the comfiest arm chairs Meles can offer and spending time causing chaos alongside House Ailurus.Badger Scout
Imogen didn’t have to think very long about her badger scout. She had already found a baby badger in the library one of her first days in the Den. The pair became fast friends after making the partnership official.Minvera follows Imogen wherever she goes, though the scout prefers staying home where there’s snacks and a heated blanket.
History
Youth
Imogen Callaway had an unremarkable childhood. Parents that loved her. An annoying little brother. She grew up surrounded by farmlands in what was formally known as Pennsylvania. While she's always had a love for reading and writing she was slow to join the ranks of Tome Knights. Imogen didn't think her werds were strong enough to do anything, or really be of any help against The Undead Horde.Becoming a Tome Knight
During the The Sixth Word War, a Tome Knight came to her and said that they could use any and all help they could get in the war against the undead. So Imogen left home for adventure. Her parents' words echoed in her ears, “do the right thing no matter what”.While she was traveling she had a bit of a magic misfire that turned her into a half raccoon. She isn't mad about it but hasn't told anyone back at home about it either since she hasn't exactly figured out how to change back. It's a work in progress.
Imogen originally went by Prez, due to a misunderstanding when she joined. She didn't bother correcting people till she joined Meles. She didn’t want to offend the people who had welcomed her in with open arms despite a war going on.
She was turned undead in The Sixth Word War, and some might say she had a little too much fun being a member of the Undead Horde. Imogen seems to be taking the transfer back to life fine and without any serious side effects. At least that is what she tells everyone.
After Word War 6 she left Ailurus to join Meles, though promising to keep in touch with the Pandas.
Joining the Royal Guard
She was officially welcomed into the Brocktrees on January 28th, 2026. It is one of the greatest accomplishments of her life to this date.WIP

Quotes & Catchphrases
I swear to gods I will tie you to the Treehouse so you don’t go undead again. Do not tempt me Bard.
Honestly? Being undead wasn’t so bad. It was an extra layer of chaos. Frequently gross chaos, but chaos.
Being undead wouldn’t be so bad, as long as you went out heroically. And the living win. That’s kind of the important bit.
