Tourney of Tales April 2026

Welcome to the Tourney of Tales!

The Tourney of Tales is a house based writing competition. We provide virtual write-ins with a competitive (but friendly!) spirit. Tourneys happen in April and July. They begin on the first of the month, and end on the last day of the month, in each participant's time zone.

Declaring You're Running for Night Monarch

Do you feel the pull of the tome? Interested in raising and leading the undead horde this November?
Elections are coming up in July.
Apply by June 24!

Please read the Night Monarch Care and Feeding Guide and check your plans with Sable and the NM support crew before declaring.
Share your declaration of intent in a results stream or the GoT Discord in the #night-monarch-election channel.
Have your NM Hero Forge links ready. After you declare, you'll be invited to the NM Support Server and Shy will have you post the links there.
Shy will post the candidates to the Tourney Page and Election page as quickly as she can. Only names and character images will be on the tourney pages. All other election info will be posted to the election page.
