Minerva

A European badger scout LitMon. She is the companion of Imogen.

 

About

Minerva loves nothing more than curling up into a little ball and taking a nap. It doesn’t matter where (in a cafe, visiting friends, the fletching room) chances are she's snoozing. She can sleep through almost anything, but will wake up immediately at the first mentions of The Undead Horde. This love of sleep doesn’t make her the best Badger Scout , though she makes up for it in enthusiasm. The badger will follow Imogen anywhere, even to the scariest places the badger can imagine. Even to Undeath itself.

She loves warm sunbeams, her heated bed, the armchair in the library that’s in a tucked away corner, Imogen, donuts, and really most pastries. She doesn’t go as feral for donuts as some of the other badger scouts, but she still thinks that they are one of the greatest inventions that man has ever come up with.

Other than the Undead, Minerva doesn’t hate much. She doesn’t like needles and will run at the first sight of spiders, cowering behind Imogen. With the newest litmon being spider shaped, this has become a small problem. She doesn’t like poorly behaved children, mostly because they love nothing more than pulling at her fur.

History

Minerva had a quiet life before Imogen befriended her. Most people didn’t want the lazy, clingy badger. That was until Imogen, who was still trying to make friends at The Den, found the badger. The two have become inseparable ever since.

When Imogen finally figured out how to become human again during Tourney of Tales April 2026, Minerva followed her into the streets of Zafforza Trench. She kept watch throughout all the interactions between her and Archon The Bard with Many Names, helping Bard put two and two together of who the sobbing woman was in front of him. She went so far as to threaten Bard when Minerva thought he might hurt Imogen. Bard thankfully does not take offense to this. During the weeks that followed, Imogen has realized that Minerva might not be the best badger scout, but she is a perfect emotional support badger. The pair have become even closer.

Minerva will straight up kill them and walk out with a donut to spare. She stood up to the Lord of the Wild Hunt. You think a handful of sleep-deprived authors will stop her? No way.

Communication

When Minerva is happy, she does the most adorable little tippy taps, that Imogen calls the happy dance. When the badger is upset, her ears flatten against her head. She speaks badger flawlessly, and understands common like most badger scouts. She also speaks sign language.
