Thunder

Much of Thunder's history has is lost to the currents. Once a captain of a submarine crew, xyr path in life took a sharp detour when Thunder was drifting unconscious in the deep for 23 to 78 hours before a group of Molluscans found xem and brought xem to Zafforza City... Alone.

It is the duty of the captain to go down with the ship, even if the ship is a submarine. Despite the efforts of several search parties, the submarine and Thunder's crew have never been found. To say that Thunder suffers from survivor's guilt would be an understatement. Thunder's home and similar members of xyr species have disappeared as well... Or perhaps the wreck opened a portal to another dimension for a short time. It's difficult to say.

Thunder is a jack-of-all-trades, master-of-none for to gardening and farming. That's been xyr focus since beginning a new life in Zafforza City, after all.

Thankfully, xe doesn't have to worry about watering the crops (at least for the ones planted underwater), so most of xyr's regular "working" hours are spent crafting or practicing Literomancy while tending to House Mollusca's livestock.

Off the Record

How Thunder lost xyr leg is a mystery to everyone, even xemself. It's among the lost memories, and this limitation is one of the reasons xe's avoided joining The Word Wars. Literomantic powers or not, it's taken time for xem to not see xemself as a liability in such scenarios.

Xe's slow. Thunder knows xe's slow. Even with the reassurances of others, Thunder is sometimes embarrassed by how xe hobbles along after everyone else, always having to be slightly more sure of xyr footing than most to avoid any tumbles and falls. But in the end, Thunder couldn't stand to see any of xyr friends and family join The Undead Horde, so xe joined the fight.
