Tide Reclaimer
The office of Tide Reclaimer was established by House Mollusca following the first campaign when healers discovered it was possible that the Iron Tome could resurrect the fallen with restored limbs as long as the severed limbs were preserved shortly after battle.
Once appointed, a Tide Reclaimer possesses unrestricted authority to enter active battlefields for the sole purpose of recovering recoverable remains. Even senior officers are expected to yield when a Recliamer declares a recovery operation.

History

Advances in healing magic made successful limb reattachment increasingly common, transforming what was once considered an act of battlefield mercy into an essential component of military medicine.
This position is especially important in November during the Word Wars because there's hope of resurrection at the end of the war.
Today, the Tide Reclaimer represents House Mollusca's unwavering belief that no sacrifice should become permanent simply because the battle ended first.
