I, Lady Wynter of House Mollusca, formally declare my candidacy for the office of Night Monarch.
The Night Monarch is not a position of comfort. It is a post of vigilance, an oath taken in the dark, for the sake of those who must live within it. I do not seek this role for glory, spectacle, or vanity. I seek it because I hear the call of the Night Monarch, not to claim the power, but to protect my family with steadiness and clarity.
I have served my House. I have bled for what I believe in. I have survived what should have ended me. And I have learned, painfully, that endurance alone is not enough. We require structure. We require memory. We require the kind of leadership that does not flinch when the deep turns cold.
If elected, I will lead with discipline, defense, and accountability. I will work across House lines where possible, and I will not hesitate to draw hard boundaries where necessary. I will safeguard the vulnerable, reinforce the strength of our alliances, and ensure that the Night Monarch’s influence does not become a weapon turned inward.
This year’s theme will be revealed in time.
But know this: I will not be a Monarch of noise.
I will be a Monarch of record, of witness, and of what the Deep refuses to release.
For those who have been lost, for those who remain, and for those still trying to find their way through the dark— I am running.
