Sir DarkenedFay , WRS (a.k.a. “Ghost of Treehouse Castle”, Butterfly)
Fay is known across the Protectorates as a sharp-eyed observer, a relentless hunter, and an unexpectedly loyal friend. While they lived in the Meles Protectorate for quite some time, they served in the Wild Hunt under Nite Monarq The Bard with Many Names during the The Fifth Word War. After the war, they followed the friends they made within the undead to House Ailurus.
Despite a reputation for confidence and danger, Fay is someone who hasn’t fully learned how to be safe. When they do manage a moment of peace, they turn almost shy, like a stray cat confused when they are petted.
Fay’s surface is all sharp humor and quicker reflexes, a survivor's instincts honed by necessity. They notice everything, even the things people try not to say. Especially those. And from that, Fay often seems to know more than they are supposed to be, and love to comment on it with their absolutely dry humor.
They seem to act by fae rules, unconsciously most of the time. Contact with other fae help them to somewhat get out of their shell, since they don't feel like they have to hide their feral side as much as they usually do.
Their troubles with sleeping are well known. Rumored to roam the halls and corridors of their new home at odd hours, Fay earned the playful moniker “the Ghost of Treehouse Castle.”
Social norms sometimes escape them; affection even more so. They can disappear for three days, then show up at a friend’s door with a dead monster and a half-mumbled “Thought you might need this.”
Fay might seem distant from time to time , maybe even cold. But underneath, there is softness. Confusion. A desire to protect that borders on desperation.
Their loyalty is absolute. But trusting others to stay? Yeah, that's a work in progress.
Fay started making friends with some of their badger neighbors, near the beginning of The Fifth Word War, until they, well, died.
Ru called their good friend when the House fell, and convinced them to join the Wild Hunt under Bard-with-many-names. After the war, Fay joined most of their Undead Comrades in House Ailurus.

Fay was created by The Company… not that they remember much.
Their DNA origin sits somewhere between Queen Sable Aradia, Erin Righ, and stolen fae biology. Their existence was a project, not a birth. Where others got Void, Fay got the wildness of the fae realms engraved into their blood.
AttorraRu and Erin aided Fay in escaping The Company during Word War Three. Details are on a need to know basis, and Fay has never felt anyone needed to know. Fay's abilities fit right in with the rest of Ailurus: Speed, Evasion, Illusion. But where others lure enemies into traps or just dodge the big hits, they take another approach. Fay doesn’t just hunt: they herd prey into checkmate.
- Aerial pursuit
Their Wings give them a terrifying sink-and-strike advantage they use in quick dives, acrobatic attacks and wild maneuvers. No matter if inside or on open field, they will be just above you if you loose them for just a second - What do you have? A knife! NO!
Fay likes to fight with daggers and knife in close and ranged combat. They are proficient with other blades, too. - Illusionary trick
Imagine somebody throws a knife at you. What would be worse? If somebody threw five knifes at you and you don’t know which one to dodge. While running into a tree that seemed three foot on the left just a seconds ago. They are not really big or impressive, but they dont have to be. - Instant Replay Illusion
Fay knows where things are and where they were a second ago. With enough concentration, they are able to re-summon a illusionary copy of something that was at a certain spot moments ago… and make it real. They are still growing into that power and mostly use it to turn one fake knife into several real ones. This power is extremely exhausting for them.

Clothing tends toward practical leathers and reinforced fabrics, but always with a hint of flair. If it can look good and protect them, they will wear it. If it can’t? They’ll modify it until it can.

Fluffy - Fay’s Diamastiff puppy: an “experimental failure,” which Fay considers a cruel misunderstanding. Fluffy was given to them by Sparkles, with the understanding that this was one of those times that the less they knew the better off they’d be.
Fluffy is massive, loyal, snoring, a oversized mastiff out of pure diamond, and absolutely perfect. He can’t reproduce, and all other attempts at the same experiment failed to recreate him.
Fay doesn’t care. As said before: absolutely perfect.
