Meles Tourist Word Crawl
Welcome to House Meles, we are delighted you’re visiting our beautiful region. We hope this tour itinerary displays our home’s natural wonder and heritage. Please have your passport ready for entry and make sure to keep it on you at all times, the baby badgers are out and about and like to chew on anything they can get their paws on. If you lose your passport you may have to bribe a baby badger with donuts to get it back.
As you move through the tour you can receive stamps in your passport, be sure to keep track!
Wordi waves the group in with a smile and directs your attention to the Great Hall. The Den houses a large portion of Melesians, although not all live within the Den, some are scattered throughout the region. Please feel free to move around the Great Hall and admire the structure and unique architecture. Please let me know if you’ve any questions.

The others on the tour got in ahead of you and you only managed to wave at Wordi as you were hustled along through the Den to get onto the next site. You didn’t have time to join the queue for the glitter passport stamp, just managed to nab a regular one.

You got to ask a number of questions on what life in Meles and the Den is like, and Wordi showed you some unique carvings around the fireplace after stamping your passport with the glitter stamp!

Wordi snuck you into the cellar and let you taste some of the old ales using the traditional Meles horns while stamping your passport with a glitter stamp. Lucky you, this is normally reserved for honoured guests.

You turned too quickly and knocked a large stack of books. The bang echoed throughout the auditorium and everyone, including the Queen, was startled at the noise. The tour guide was so startled they grabbed the regular stamp for your passport.

Sylvi showed you some of the aquatic life living in some rock pools around the lake and stamped your passport with a rainbow glitter stamp!

You slipped on the rocks and missed Sylvi as she was giving out the special glitter stamps. And now you have wet socks too! Sylvi got you a regular stamp before you were rushed off.

More than 5 minutes
You tried to step over a tower of blocks and knocked them by mistake, waking the baby badgers. They immediately started running around looking for attention and getting over excited. Small paws stole your passport from your pocket and Imogen had to give you a donut to bribe the baby badger to give it back. A regular stamp was placed carefully by a badger (they can’t be trusted yet with glitter).

You tip-toed into the middle of a baby badger cuddle pile and took a cosy, cuddly nap. Imogen stamped your passport with glitter while you snoozed and gave you a donut in thanks as you left.

Got a little distracted during your writing time
You accidentally trampled through a flower patch and Thunder was busy trying to sort the flowers so grabbed the first stamp that came to hand, a regular one.

We will kick our tour off and finish here in the Den at the Windy Willows. The Auditorium
Our tour takes a more serious turn as we move to the Auditorium. Meles main governing is managed from here and this is where Melesian populace’s concerns are raised, discussed and ultimately resolved. Queen Purple happens to be in the room as you tour through. The Lake
As you leave the Den you move towards a large gleaming lake. It’s a beautiful summer day and the light breeze ripples the water of the lake. Sylvi lives in the lake and waves to you as you approach, eager to show you the majesty of the area.Write 500 words or 10 minutes, whichever is shorter
Baby badger nursery
Imogen greets you at the door into the baby badger nursery and holds her finger to her lips encouraging you to be quiet. Imogen has spent ages getting them to sleep.Write 100 words

Picnic
The Melesians have laid out a feast in the woods for the tour to take a break. Long tables are laden with food.Take a rest for 5 minutes

The Woodland
Thunder gathers you after you’ve finished the picnic and waves you into the woodland, guiding you through the paths and helping you walk off some of the food.Write for 20 minutes

Meles training
Captain Blade is standing, waiting for you as you emerge from the woodland into a clearing. His hard gaze runs over the group and he directs everyone to pick up a staff and to practice some drills. Everyone in Meles needs to be ready for attack at any time, even guests.Write for 10 minutes or 500 words, whichever is shorter

The Den
The Tour is guided back to the Den by Liath who shows the patch of trees where one will be selected for next Yule along with the craft station where numerous Melesians work throughout the year making decorations for the different festivals and celebrations. She ends the tour back in the Feast Hall where drinks and food is laid out.Grab a snack or treat and munch while you write until the food is gone
