Delphi Sophia Eleni Rhea Chloe Agape Agyri Stargazer
Delphi is an Aquatic Centaur who first appeared near House Mollusca just before April 2026. Welcomed into the fold, she is curious about everything. She is a priestess of Apollo and part of the herd of aquatic centaurs entrusted to run the Oracle of Delphi back in the day. Now, she is wandering around and hopes to make the world better, even if only by small bits. While not very strong, Delphi can be a mean opponent. She really hates fighting, though, preferring diplomacy. In her opinion, violence is the last tool to pick up.
Physical Description
Body Features
Delphi is a slender, young-looking aquatic centaur. She's smaller than most and not very strong. She has big blue eyes and light turquoise skin with white freckles. Her shoulder-length hair is a mix of seafoam green, white, turquoise, and purple. She has soft violet markings on her shoulders and flank.
Her horse half is white, fading into blue and violet near her hooves. She has fins along her lower arms, and fin-shaped horns on her head that look a bit like a crown.
She wears a simple, toga-like top and archery bracers. Her jewelry includes a gold torque and a plain circlet, marking her as a priestess of Apollo. She usually has a bunch of scrolls attached to her belt or in her saddlebags, even though she doesn't like carrying them. She always carries a small telescope for watching the stars as well as her trusted bow, which was blessed by her mother, a priestess of Artemis.

Her herd has its own form of Scurry Communication, and she has quickly adapted to how Molluscans use it. Delphi also has command over water. Most of the time, she just uses the second one so that the water can carry her books for her.Oracle
Blessed by Apollo, Delphi is able to see the future. That does not mean she has control over what she sees or that it has been (will be) useful. Most of the time, it's random and harmless little warnings or vague wordings. Sometimes, she carries a prophecy with her for 20 years which only makes sense as soon as she meets the person it is about.Many times, it's something like: "You wear darkness like a cloak, and it will fill your home with unending chaos," and it is just a warning for a goth to do their laundry. Delphi is not very good at sorting through them and throws prophecies around like an equine Professor Trelawney.

Talking to Fish

When in trouble, Delphi uses the bow her mother blessed. She is able to imbue her arrows with magic from the stars and send them flying. The effect varies on which constellation she channels into them, but most are specifically nonlethal.Mental characteristics
Personal history
In ancient Egypt, people knew that one third of what you are is your genetics, one third is how you are raised, and one third is your name. They really had no reason to be as surprised as they were.Delphi grew up in the Mediterranean Sea near Greece. Being the first daughter of her matriarchal family, she was destined follow in their footsteps and become an arrow in Artemis's quiver. But things didn't turn out that way. Her playful personality betrayed that plan. In addition, Apollo bestowed the blessings of divination on her. And even though her mother was disappointed, she let her daughter follow the path destined for her by the gods.
As a priestess of Apollo, she started to read everything she could find. Anything that could help her make sense of what was going on in her head. Delphi turned into a terrible bookworm, rarely leaving the underwater temples. She would often have her nose in a book even when the herds were travelling. It often took the village to raise this child without her wandering off a cliff because she was reading, even as an adult.
Until one day, she kept reading while heading home. And wandered. And wandered. And wandered. And wandered. Because somewhere around here was where her house was supposed to be, right?!
She somehow managed to wander from the Mediterranean Sea all the way to Atlantis (Zafforza City), where she met Archon The Bard with Many Names, Thunder, Olivette Rivers, and later Lady Wynter.
Intellectual Characteristics
Delphi is a scholar through and through, with a keen interest in philosophy, physics, astronomy, history, and mathematics. Some of her information might be outdated, but she loves learning new things. If you ask her about some of her favorite topics, she will not stop talking about it until you stop her.
She has a very strong moral frame. She is a vegan and a pacifist. She loves learning and teaching as well as having deep discussions in the light of flickering oil lamps. She loves art, but is terrible at it herself, and can't carry a tune in a bucket.

Her search for knowledge knows no bounds. She will absolutely steal books she has not read, listen in on secrets of others, try to figure things out without asking herself if she should be doing them first.
