New Creatures Division Task Force

Summer Camp 2024: A unit dedicated to guarding someone or something

The New Creatures Division Task Force is a specialized unit dedicated to securing and protecting the new creatures appearing and/or developing on Earth. As of July 2024, they have successfully contained multiple wild populations of Commants (Don't tell Foxx. It's at their house), Al-Miraj, Jackalopes, Wolpertingers, Skvaders, and Messenger Bats, among others. In May of 2024, a breeding pair of Questing Beasts were finally captured by the Task Force. The Questing Beasts have since been transported to a secure habitat, where motor vehicles and other dangers pose little threat.

Composition

Manpower

The Task Force is currently made up of 30 employees of the New Creatures Division of the World Literomantic Academy. Despite their small number, the Task Force is notably efficient and productive on their jobs.

All positions within the Task Force are currently hiring additional personnel. See Dr. Lena Hoffmann, the Head of the New Creatures Division, for additional details. No resume required. We're understaffed.

Vehicles

Vehicles used by the Task Force include various brands of heavy-duty vans, off-roading vehicles such as ATVs, and enclosed trailers for transporting new creatures.

Tactics

The tactics of the New Creatures Division Task Force are simple: Get it done. The new creatures the Force deals with on the daily are unpredictable, and any and all tactics are considered valid, so long as they get the job done.

Training

The Task Force has very little training requirements before being put to work. The first tasks undertaken include basic, supervised interaction with the new creatures. After significant rapport has been built with the creatures, unsupervised interaction is permitted. Eventually, a trainee will begin participating in low-risk out of office missions, working their way up to high-risk missions and veterinary work.
