Queen Sable's Great Migration Address
Queen Sable's Great Migration Address was a Royal Address to the Lapin Protectorate, the Woodland Family Alliance, and the world at large. It was written by the Mother of Bunnies herself on May 21, 2023, and first aired publicly on May 22, 2023. In her address, Queen Sable asked for public assistance in helping almost 2 million people to immigrate from the 1337 Speak Reality to the present reality before the 1337 Speak Reality's imminent destruction, and detailed what it was that Tome Knights intended to do to facilitate The Great Migration.

Queen Sable's Great Migration Address was widely publicized. It originally aired on the OneWorld News Network on May 22, 2023, and was circulated to most major networks in the Protectorates of the Great Houses, the European Protectorate, and most English-speaking countries.
The Address was also circulated to print media syndication services such as the AP, and was printed in entirety in The Guardian, The New York Times, The Vancouver Province, The Globe and Mail, and a variety of other major print publications, as well as the official website of the Lapin Protectorate.
Historical Details
Background
In mid-May in 2023, Seneschal Prinx Tempest Kwake came to their sister, Queen Sable, with a request to bring people over from the 1337 Speak Reality, which was the original "home universe" of their husband, Buddha Kwake, Duke Sacramento. The Prinx had used their unique ability to create portals between realities in their teens to escape a bad situation, and had ended up spending several years in the 1337 Speak Reality, where they were adopted into a foster family. They were aware that the 1337 Speak Reality was soon to be destroyed in a fiery apocalypse, and they wanted to save their family and friends from this fate.
The Mother of Bunnies was immediately supportive, but discovered that it was not just the Prinx's family that wanted out. Apparently there was a prophecy that had predicted this destruction, and approximately a million people believed it and were ready to jump ship to another universe. Queen Sable realized such an operation would require broad-spanning assistance, and she set about laying the groundwork to acquire that assistance.
Most of the other Great Houses were immediately on board, including House Ailurus, House Meles, House Chiroptera and House Sauropoda, but the "Holy Queen of Buns" knew she would need the support of the populace to make this enormous endeavour successful as well. Once plans had firmly solidified, the Lapin Queen composed a public address and gave a speech from the Carrot Throne, asking for the public's help and support.
In the video recording of her speech, Queen Sable held her youngest daughter, Princess Luna, in her lap in her bunny form. Detractors cynically claim that this was a calculated move on the Queen's part to stir public sentiment and garner their sympathy.
History
While the long-term consequences are still unfolding, Queen Sable's address led to the success of the Great Migration, and nearly two million people from the 1337 Speak Reality are in the process of integrating into their new universe.
An organization known as the 1337 Speak Archive Project has translated Queen Sable's Great Migration Address into 1337 Speak, and has filed 1337 Speak captioned copies of the address in their digital archives.
Public Reaction
The public's reaction to the address, and the Great Migration overall, was enthusiastically supportive. Perhaps spurred, in part, by the dramatic losses from The Third Word War, the public embraced the newcomers, and were willing to go to the effort and make the sacrifices that were required for the endeavour. Popular musical performers composed songs that praised the effort and welcomed the 1337 Speak folk, influencers on the web encouraged public support, and the media covered the event and the efforts made by the general populace and the Literomancers favourably. Whole communities banded together to help the newcomers integrate and celebrated the event with the same sort of enthusiasm that surrounded the 1969 moon landing.
The address, and the effort, were not entirely without detractors, however. Some significant religious and political groups opposed integrating such a large group of "reality interlopers," especially if they were already negatively inclined towards literomancers. Several small countries that were not incorporated into Protectorates closed their borders to the 1337 Speakers. A few politicians in the Lapin, Meles and Sauropoda Protectorates spoke out against the address and the effort and sparked negative social media campaigns. Overall, however, these efforts failed to garner the public support needed to give them any real teeth, and the Migration proceeded as planned.

Queen Sable's Great Migration Address
Lapinites, Woodlanders, everyone. I have come before you today to ask for your help. I have come to appeal to your better natures; the best of what makes us who we are. I have come to ask you, who have already given so much of yourselves, to give of yourselves again.
You are likely aware that my sibling's husband, Buddha Kwake, Duke Sacramento, comes from an alternate reality which we call the 1337Speak Reality. What you do not know is that this reality is soon to be destroyed. This knowledge has only recently come to my attention as well.
Prinx Tempest is capable of creating a portal to this reality; and I am immune to their powers, so I am capable of making that portal survivable. We can't sustain it forever, but we have figured out ways to make it much bigger than it typically would be, and we have figured out ways to make it possible for us to sustain it for much longer without directly risking our lives. This requires the cooperation and support of many other literomancers; but five of the Great Houses are on board, including Lapin, Meles, Ailurus, Chiroptera, and Sauropoda.
Our plan is to train as many people as we can in the 1337Speak Reality, to walk through the biggest portal we can safely sustain, as fast as they safely can. This training will require 8 weeks. Then, Prinx Tempest and I, aided by the cooperative support of the other literomantic Houses, will maintain the portal and force field for as long as we can. From there, aided by the magic of the Great Houses and the use of Sauropoda's famous Rave Train, we will be moving our newly-arrived refugees to the places they need to go.
On the other side of the reality divide, we intend to take anyone who undertakes the training. We will take them first. There are about a million people, apparently, who are ready to believe the signs that exist in their own end, and commit to this exodus. We have made the decision to try to convince as many others as we can to join them. We are making no considerations for anything else. No attention will be given to age, level of ability, race, creed, faith, or any of the many other things that divide us as people. Anyone who does the training will be taken.
After that, we have made the decision that we will accept extras. This will be a much more difficult and time-consuming process and will not be nearly as successful. Also, to prevent violence, we must make some sort of pre-determined selection that is easy to judge at a glance. This is unfair and horrible, but it is, after all, the complete destruction of a world we are talking about; a world that is very like our own.
So, the least unfair, and easiest, determination we thought we could possibly make, is that we will accept only children.
Now, this is where the rest of you come in.
To make this work, we will need your help. We will be relocating at least a million people. They will need places to go, and they will need help integrating into our universe. Fortunately, the languages they speak are pronounced verbally in the same way that ours are, but they write in 1337Speak, so they will need literacy training.
Their presence will put a strain on our food security. Since we are already down 4% of our population since the last war, our harvests all run the grave risk of rotting on the vine. We will need everyone – and I do mean everyone – to put in some time in our agricultural sector to ensure that food is properly grown and harvested; and we will need people to work in the food processing industry to ensure that food has time to make it to our tables.
If you think I'm exaggerating, I have already asked to be included in work shifts, and will be out in fields with a sickle or a shovel or a set of clippers right alongside everyone else.
We will need communities to make room for our influx of refugees and to give them a touchstone in our reality. They will have lost everything. We need you to help to make them welcome and assist them in rebuilding their lives. They will need gainful employment – and yes, we expect that most of them will be joining us in the fields as well, at least for the first year. They will need churches that welcome them, schools to send their children to; all the things that make life worth living. For those of you who were once Canadians, you will remember the Canadian Refugee Sponsorship Program. We're going to be building a model that is largely based on that. I will be asking everyone to aid in whatever way you can.
They will also need places to live. We know that many houses stand empty, and we will be filling those houses. We are also likely need places for people to billet; at least for a time. When this statement is concluded, information will be provided on where and how to register for billeting and community sponsorship.
And last – in the best case scenario, there will be thousands of orphans. They will need care; and more importantly, families to love them. If you think there is any possibility that you could make room for one or more children in your family, we would be happy to accept your applications.
This will not be an easy task before us. That much should be abundantly clear. And yet, we have never been in a better position to do it. Our population, after the devastation of the Word Wars, has room to absorb millions of people. We are accustomed to mass migrations and radical life changes. We are accustomed to working together for common benefit.
There are benefits to us as well. Something my community used to say frequently was that "many hands make light work." We have all noticed deficiencies in the functioning of our society in the wake of our losses; new arrivals will help to fill that gap. And it's worth noting that the 1337Speak Reality has technomancers, and there is sure to be a significant number of literomancers among the refugees. In the long run, they can help to protect the areas that remain unprotected, they can fill the holes in our technological potential and perhaps even improve on it, and they can help us fight the Undead Horde. There is mounting evidence that their knowledge may even aid us in better understanding the Iron Tome, allowing us to minimize its more destructive and chaotic effects.
Above all, however, I am asking you to invest yourselves in this because it is the right thing to do. Every life is precious, and surely, if the past few years have taught us nothing else, they have taught us that! Every life we save is a victory against darkness. Every home that welcomes someone new is enriched by your willingness to serve the power of compassion.
My role in this, and the role of my sibling, are actually the least important. We are nothing more than a doorway. We can open it. But we need each and every one of you to welcome our guests and share your hospitality with them in the tradition of great myths. Every one who takes part in this effort will be a true hero.
I know that many of you have reservations, simply because so much has already changed so radically for us in such a short period of time. I share your concerns and your fears. But I believe that, as one of my favourite authors has so wisely said, "Great tests are also great gifts." We have taken many blows from the slings and arrows of outrageous fortune. This is our chance to make our own choices; to act on our own agency; to look darkness in the face and tell it, "Not today!"
I believe we can do this. I believe we can put aside our differences to serve a greater good. I believe in you.

As if it weren't bad enough that literal witches are running around, now the Mad March Hare wants to bring a million immigrants in-- from another reality, no less! For what purpose? To take more of our jobs and take the food from the mouths of our children? This is the work of the devil, I tell you! How much more obvious can it be that the so-called "Mother of Bunnies" is the Whore of Babylon, heralding the Apocalypse?
The Mother of Bunnies has asked us for our assistance, because it is the right thing to do. As Christians, it is our duty extend our hands to help those in need. My family has applied to have some of the 1337 Speak orphans placed with us, and if you can find any love or compassion in your heart, I urge you to do the same. If you're not in a position to adopt a child, then I urge you to do whatever you can. Let us break bread with our fellow children of God and welcome them to our tables. Corinthians 1, verses 3 and 4: "Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God."
