Morgen the Many
Hound of the Wild Hunt Morgen , the Many (a.k.a. Creative Chaos, Kagumine Kitsune)
The Diary of Morgen The Many
In order to understand what lies here I believe that an introduction must be in order. My name is Morgen, my name became Morgen during my second change, and remained my name through the third. Unless I make yet another significant change to my identity, one which necessitates another renaming, then it shall be the name with which I am buried. I had once been human, a fledgling literomancer flailing about in a self-imposed misery. I craved the power of creation, but my darker impulses, my doubt, my self-inflicted drive for perfection to the detriment of all else was my downfall. I tried to write, to create. I put pen to paper and from that I formed half-thoughts. I created outlines, empty impressions of stories. Poor, misshapen things began to take form, began to see life, but before they could breathe, before they could be truly realized, I killed my own creations. Each time I sat down to write I walked away with the same things I’d begun with: a head buzzing with vague ideas, the feeling of my gut turning itself inside out with my own self-doubt, and an empty tome. What good is a writer that doesn’t write? To live is to change, to transform, to grow and become better than you were before. I had not been living, not the way I’d wished to live. I had not been living up to the literomancer title that I had so desperately craved. The pit in my stomach, the ache to become more, to become better, reminded me of that constantly. It… I demanded perfection without giving myself the time to breathe or grow. I wasn’t “good enough.” I needed to “be better.” I needed a change. It was brash and reckless, but I was determined to “be a better writer,” even if it killed me. With naught but an empty notebook, a reliable pen, and what scant literomantic knowledge I’d gathered, I left home and marched straight into the nearest fairy ring. I was determined to find perfection within the mists. To this day, ”Perfection” still eludes me. Perfection, I have learned, is pure folly, but it took the wildness of the mists to teach me that.Creative Chaos, known to her friends simply as Morgen, also known as Morgen the Many, was a changeling fae and valued member of House Ailurus. She was the younger sibling and favoured student of Archon The Bard with Many Names, a Literomancer, and a dedicated Tome Knight. Because there are so few Tome Knights, and because the world depends upon them for survival, all Tome Knights tend to be celebrities by definition. But Morgen saw precious little by way of media attention, for either good or ill, as far as most Tome Knights go. However, among their peers, Morgen was universally loved and respected. She was a person who is widely agreed to have improved every life she touched.

Personal history
Morgen was not always changed. Born human but feeling outcast she found a fairy circle and with the help of what small bits of literomancy she’d learned she managed to make her way into the Mists. While wandering she came upon the leader of the Wild Hunt, The Bard of Many Names, and willingly traded her diffidence to become a changeling.
In November of 2025 she found her way back from the Mists and joined Ailurus. During that same war she became undead and joined the Kitsune-gumi.
Early Life
I was not always called Morgan, in fact Morgan is the third name I’ve used. The first name by which I am called is dead to me, and as such shall not be stated, though it is fair to state that it could be nothing but masculine in nature. I was the first born of my family, and I shouldered my family’s expectations. I was to be my father’s pride. Academically I was “gifted.” Learning, the intake and utilization of new information, has often come easy to me. As long as I “applied myself” there was nothing I couldn’t do. I had no option but to “apply myself.” Anything else was met with a quiet fury and a corporeal reminder of what was expected. That is how I learned my father’s first lesson: there could be no mistakes.
Academics
I spent my twelfth birthday alone. I wasn’t alone by choice, mind you, but I was alone. Math has never been my strong suit, not that is hard by any means of course, I just find it… tedious. Boring. When I hear “Pie”, my first thought isn’t “3.14,” it’s “blueberry, pumpkin, or apple?” When you say “Hypotenuse,” I ask, “Hippopatamous? Where?!?” I do not care about right angles or Pythagoras or any sort of theorem. I do not find pleasure in numbers. Formula do not excite me. Geometry puts me to sleep. Of course, Math is necessary. You don’t get music or theater without math, and I adore music and theater. I do see the value in Math, and who doesn’t use some math some of the time? Doing Math for its own sake, however? Absolutely not. So when I fell asleep during my algebra midterm on the week of my twelfth birthday and came home with a “B,” I found myself alone, sitting in my room and nursing my father’s corporeal reminder of what comes with anything less than perfection.
The Bard With Many Names
Ah yes, The Elephant in the Room. The bridge that must be crossed. The shoe that fits the other foot. I adore Bard. I have complicated feelings about Bard. He is the one who changed me, answered the “what” in “what am I” by giving me both a firm answer and many new questions. Somewhere deep inside me, where humanity once sat, I can feel the hook of obligation buried within. The tiny little prick of a blood-covenant, the ozone-scent of family forged in the breaking and burning of spirit, melded like molten iron shaped into a ring within my soul from which hangs a loose chain. I am lucky Bard is not one to pull such chains, though I would gladly follow as his hound if he did. Sometimes he calls me “pup” and I feel myself smile. I see the way he is with Nova, the way he is with Happy, and I find myself jealous. Not for Bard, I do not desire him in a romantic, much less carnal way; and not for his partners, I would not wish to steal them away from him, it is good to see them smile; but for the connection that appears to come so easy between them. I will never admit this aloud, but he was right. I did not need to throw humanity away. I did not need to be changed. I needed friends. I needed support. Still, I do not regret my choice. In the end, it was my choice.Outside of changelings and perhaps some of those born fae, no one really understands exactly how it works. But it is clear that Morgen was born Human, and became fae later, and this was accomplished somehow by The Bard with Many Names, which is what made them "siblings."
Bitten/Smitten
Alas, how should it be that not long after stumbling from the mists and joining the ranks of literomancers of Ailurus that I should become undead? Does it matter that I had been wandering the woods that had been declared unsafe? Is my propensity for attempting to spread cheer and raise the spirits not a good thing? Pah! ‘Tis true, I have none to blame but myself. I saw a friend in need having a bad day, and why shouldn’t they? Bad days are far too common in these times, and everyone could use a bit of a pick me up. So, I gave the best pick me up I know of: A hug. Did I realize they were undead? Not immediately. Did I care? Honestly, not much. Hunger is not as new to me as it might be to some. We shall see where it shall go. I, of course, have done the sensible thing and joined the Kitsune-gumi. They have funfetti cake, an absolutely lovely little bar, and have taken to calling me Kagumine Kitsune. They say it means “Mirror Fox” in “Japanese” and I am delighted. I am aware of the Kitsune as a trickster spirit, and like said trickster spirit I do retain my shapeshifting abilities, so I hope to embody that spirit well. Alas, this entry is getting long so I shall call it here. Good night, my journal.Unusually for Tome Knights, Morgen began to first make a name for themself among their peers as one of the Undead. Newly welcomed into House Ailurus by their changeling-sibling when they stepped out of the Mists, they were almost immediately turned by the Kitsune-gumi during the The Sixth Word War. Rather than being a destructive menace, they were a force of chaos... but one that diverted undead energies to silly pranks, playing music, and finding new recipes for brains. The Gumi realized that she was a lot of fun to be around.
Morgen was one of the most understanding and compassionate souls I've ever met. She listened and may have even understood why I turned and...my past. lips tighten and no more can be gained on the subjectFollowing the war and their subsequent Resurrection, Morgen befriended Queen Sable Aradia when they showed up randomly at The Warren for an open Tomesmas invitation, with baking, and they distinguished themself in the legendary snowball fight that followed (with Archon Bard leading one team, and Queen Sable leading the other.) By the time the Tomesmas celebrations had moved to The Treehouse, Morgen had managed to draw the Bunny Queen back out into the society of the Great Houses, which she had not been involved with since the end of The Fourth Word War. Morgen had also gone a long way towards bridging the tension that existed between Queen Sable and their big brother. Creative Chaos promptly joined the Chaos Cartel, which is something everybody probably should have seen coming, given their name. Their interpretation of the Cartel's mission was mostly to draw people into goofy fun in between heart-to-heart conversations, and to play their ukulele and sing, which was an instrument they were relatively new to, but loved with their whole heart. They picked it up rather quickly, and entertained people for hours with their odd combination of folk war tunes and appropriately inappropriate humourous ditties. They also had a love of video games, which they played with Queen Sable and others.
So you know how whenever someone says they're happy, and I say, "No, I'm Happy?" Well, it was a running joke that Morgen would turn herself into me, and then she'd say, "No, I'M Happy!" That was her brand of chaos. I'm really going to miss it.Their sense of humour, dead or alive, tended to the mischievous and absurd. If there was a way for them to do something that would play a prank or make someone laugh, they were all in. They entertained the Bunny Queen for hours with their stories of the griefing they did on PvP Minecraft servers, although they never once griefed the server where the two of them played, because that wasn't what they were there for.
Morgan was fun to team up with for water-based shenanigans. They are also remembered for the chaos they sparked when some of the Chaos Cartel crashed the party at the Self Care Mafia's Self Care Retreat - May 2026, and they pulled out all the accruements for a water fight, resulting in an epic battle with the Bunny Queen, Chiropterans Clockwocket, Denver Grant, and Brielle Merrick, and Lapin House Librarian AttorraRu that the retreat's attendees almost certainly never forgot. Morgen passed away suddenly, right in the middle of the July 2026 Tourney of Tales. Nobody is entirely sure what happened and there is an investigation underway. Was it a hex? Was it iron poisoning? Was it some variant of The Trope Plague? Nobody knows. But just like that, a person who was just becoming a fixture of the literomantic world, and drawing everyone together, was just... gone.
Sexuality
Morgen was pansexual and polyamorous. They are survived by two loving partners in their polycule, as well as a mother and sister.
Education
Morgen was easily bored by school, because it did not challenge her. She spent some time wandering after graduating high school with honours, which is how she found the Mists. Later, she enrolled at the Penwall Arts Academy to continue her education, where she was studying Creative Writing.
Employment
As a Tome Knight in service to House Ailurus, they received a salary and expense account, as well as living quarters and expenses. Prior to their service as a Tome Knight, they were a struggling artist and musician.
Accomplishments & Achievements
Creative Chaos is remembered for many things that gave joy to and inspired others, but among her greatest accomplishments was that she refused to allow illness from keeping her from participating in the Tourney of Tales April 2026, even in a hospital bed.
Good for you, Morgen! That's the spirit of a true Tome Knight.
Personality Characteristics
Savvies & Ineptitudes
Music
Morgen loved music, and could play multiple instruments including the piano, violin, and ukulele. They also enjoyed singing and filking.Cooking & Baking
Morgen enjoyed cooking, especially for other people. She liked stovetop cooking more than baking but was skilled in both.Lockpicking
In her adolescence Morgen learned how to pick locks because she thought it would impress someone she had a crush on. (It didn't work.)Sleight-of-Hand
Morgen was light-fingered and adept with both pickpocketing and minor “magic” tricks.Likes & Dislikes
Morgen actively craved touch, likely due to a lack of physical affection in their childhood.
Representation & Legacy
The Chaos Cartel closed the Chaos Coffee Shop and Spa for a wake held in Morgen's honour on the 20th of July, 2026.
Because Morgen loved professional wrestling, since she thought it was ridiculous, it was a goal of hers to establish a professional wrestling league in the Ailurus Protectorate. This effort is being continued as a way to honour her memory. She is also remembered for her high-fashion clothing line, since she was always a spectacular dresser.
In the Minecraft server where she played with Queen Sable, Morgen constructed a Minecraft version of the Treehouse, with a little help from a couple of the other players. The Bunny Queen has left her house as a historic site, and installed a gravestone in her garden, and transferred her obituaries (as a player) into the Hall of Remembrance, which Queen Sable is imitating in the Great Library in the physical world.

But sadly, she ran out of time
With this game that we had,
She brought hope to ya.

In her name, we carry on
With every single round of hallelujah!”
