November first has come and gone, and the Night Monarch has yet to show his or her face. Will there actually be a horde this year? We can only hope that we might be spared, and the Undead Horde fails to make an appearance. They’ve been appearing every year since that fateful day in 2020 when The Nite Qing terrorized the world.
  Rumors are flying that our last Night Monarch, the Bard with No Names, may be hiding that he has turned again. His concerts filled with magic enchantments only add fuel to speculations. Why the fox mask? What could he be hiding behind it?
 
  Queen Badger Purpleheart has reported Princess ShyRedFox missing and Seneschal HappyHappySad says Librarian Foxx hasn’t been heard with their squeaky toys. But that pair disappears to the SCM Cafes all the time. Librarian AttorraRu says she’s been helping out at the cafe and can vouch for the pair. LitWatch News will keep you in the loop!

In a shocking turn of events, the Night Monarchs were discovered during a surprise attack. Owsla officers Captain James Woodwright and Commander DMStretch were dispatched to assist Self Care Mafia bosses, Oyabun ShyRedFox and Captain Foxx, on November the first. The Owsla were ambushed by Shy, Foxx, and AttorraRu, though they managed to escape unharmed.
  Archon The Bard with Many Names was seen fleeing the scene just before the attack and is not on the suspect list.
  Multiple witnesses stated that the dispatched Owsla were soaking wet and covered in a mixture of glitter glue, glitter, and hundreds of tiny white hairs. Queen Sable Aradia of House Lapin has declared a state of emergency, posted warrants, and notified all House Leaders.
 

The Night Monarchs were revealed to be none other than the chaotic self-care duo themselves! They are calling themselves Shydeadfox and Deathwriter, the Dons of the Dead. Librarian Attoraru, now known as Roarabryn, Lady of Chaos, is confirmed to have joined their ranks.
  The talented and terrifying Kitsune-gumi are sure to be an impressive threat this November, as they’ve told this reporter, “We intend on turning every house. We need every single Tome Knight’s literomancy to save the yokai from a powerful new threat in the Tomeverse,” Shydeadfox said.
  DeathWriter added, “They’ll help us with that and with bringing back my home, whether they like it or not. Also, Sable ate my last Halloween candy, so I’m still super salty about that.”

At 4am this morning, fire crews arrived on the scene at SCM headquarters. The crews were unable to stop the inferno from consuming the building, a former fire house. Loss of the safe haven of good will and self care encouragement is rocking the TomeVerse.
  Acting Oyabun, Lady Wynter contacted both sides of the news, the LitWatch Newsand WLA News, for an emergency press release after she ensured the safety of her people. Here is her statement.
  “I have grave news to bring to you today. Early this morning, some half demon and white wolf arrived at SCM HQ asking about Oyabun ShyRedFox and Captain Foxx. They insulted Shy and Foxx. So, I slammed the door in their faces. Then they attacked! Who the hell are they? They ordered LitMon to attack, too! Isn’t that forbidden?

“Those bastards haven’t beaten the SCM. We will rebuild. But now we take the war to them. In the meantime, the SCM Cafesremain as safe havens. SCM HQ will be temporarily moved to a secure location in Zafforza City. Self care is essential, especially in times of emergency.”
  All SCM members are accounted for, though Regent Major Eiliagh suffered minor injuries, while acting Oyabun, Lady Wynter, injuries were slightly more severe. Rest assured she’s being tended to by Flubb and it is reported to already trying to get back on her feet.
  An all points bulletin had been placed for the attackers. If you spot either or both of these suspects, please report to your nearest authority. Do not approach. The suspects are considered armed and dangerous.

Shortly after surveillance video surfaced of the razing of the Self Care Mafia HQ in Omaha, reports came in that the duo Black Carl Sasuga and Akui - The Okamiden have been seen commanding and force marching an army near Sauropodan territory.
  Other witnesses say that these are no ordinary zombies. They don't appear to be undead. They look like any other ordinary citizen, but with a glazed look in their eyes.
  Carl and Akui are on Interpol's most wanted list, just behind the Dons of the Dead, ShyDeadFox and DeathWriter. They are considered armed and dangerous. So please, keep your distance and do not approach these fugitives.
  Why do they have an army and why are they heading toward the Dino territory? Is the dastardly duo trying to become the Night Monarchs of the GoTverse? Is that even possible since we already have Night Monarchs?
