Game of Tomes November 2026

Welcome to the Game of Tomes!

The Game of Tomes is a House based writing competition. We provide virtual write-ins with a competitive (but friendly) spirit.
November is when the Game of Tomes Word Wars occur. They begin on the first of the month, and end on the last day of the month, in each participant's time zone. In this Word War, the "living" writers will vie against Misty leading The Undead Horde.
At every results stream, the House with the lowest word count is overrun by the Horde. One third of the House's writers will join the undead horde and are determined by the "Wheel of Doom". The wheel randomly selects the writers from a list of the House's participating members. (Writing for either side, living or undead, is fun!)
During the final results stream, we find out if the living or the undead are victorious. Each possibility has Tomeverse lore consequences!

Full rules and word counting instructions are posted on the Game of Tomes (GoT) homepage.

Here you can see the current alliances made by the Minor Houses. (In other words, the smaller Minor Houses team up with a Major House. It's beneficial for both the Minor and Major Houses.)
